Utd were very beatable but this was still a game at Old Trafford. Felt we should have played a more defensive setup and maybe doubled up on Rashford, he was their only real danger.

I know people are concerned with Jose playing boring football, but this game called for it.

If your feeling bad its probably because you underestimated utd and got overly confident. They had a brilliant performance and we were not so brilliant. Positives are the line-up and the subs. Deles goal, and I thought CE really looked motivated without actually doing anything of note.

Peno was crap but what can ye do. I'm still confident of top 4 so we'll see.

There is nothing this season that suggests we will get top 4 we are a bang average side and have been for nearly 12 months.

it won’t be a popular opinion on here, but hose is a busted flush. He’s out sold Levy. Levy’s had a hard on for him for ages, and hose has just ridden him like seabiscuit.

Sometimes I despair at some of our fans. Can't we just show some patience and acknowledge that the job of turning things around is going to take longer than two weeks?

I'm actually increasingly concerned that we seem to have a full scale rebuilding job on our hands. Poch knew it but seemed to have just lost the will to keep fighting. Jose has no ties to this group of players and will be ruthless in the transfer window. The major difference is that I'm confident he has a plan and I'm convinced that he'll be able to force Levy's hand more than Poch ever could.

But in the meantime, anything more than top 6 this season will be a borderline miracle.
