Ex West Ham but having met him twice he was 100% spurs truly great spurs player.
That's right he wasn't but I was just listening to Perry Groves on talksport and he said when he was younger for years after Martin Peters retired football commentators would say about a player "he ghosted in like Martin Peters" and thinking back he's right they did.Strange as I don't remember Peters being nicknamed the " ghost " but I do know for a fact John White was "the ghost of white hart lane "
His son wrote a book with the word " ghost " being in the title .
Not that it matters and as I say perhaps my recall of facts is diminishing .
