I am a bit in the dark on the current situation in the UK living in Aust, but surely Norwich need money with the pandemic and being relegated. (Correct me if necessary)

I suppose they either cash in their biggest asset or hope he helps them get promoted.

You don’t need an outstanding RB at Championship level, you need goals and organised shit house defenders. Pukki will bag 20 plus in the Champ and I’m sure with the money coming in they can find a decent LB and RB - Bournemouth on the other hand, if they sell King are losing a lot of goals

So I guess Norwich should cash in.

Yes they should. I don’t believe we were actually interested as he is surely too short for Jose, no way would he tolerate both Reguilón and Aaron’s in the same side, he would have palpitations at every corner.

I am surprised that no one has gone for Cantwell, he looked very good last season and again counts as HG.

Messi was just quoted "Aaron's? No, he is too short." ;)

I'm gonna say it though. The fourth goal we scored came as a result of Southampton trying to chip a ball over our right back, but Doherty being the tall chap he is managed to win the header sending it to Lamela. Now I'm not one to go along the "he's too short route", however at the time I did laugh at the thought.

Cantwell & Buendia should get moves to the PL soon enough

Please tell me how and in what way you are disadvantaged by living in Australia.

I am not sure i understand what you mean.

Send me a private message if you want, as not really on topic.
I have the internet here; I read any UK paper I wish to; I listen to 5Live all day and night if i wish to, even in the car; every single Tottenham game is on tv here; every single epl game is live on tv (380 in total). I can’t understand why I would know less about what‘s going on in football because I live in Australia.

I'm slowly coming around to the idea of getting Aarons if Aurier is sold. It makes senses

But

Tanganga and Foyth confuse the situation because both imo look much better footballers and can play right back.

I’m guessing Aarons is Barca’s backup plan. They dont seem to be giving up on Dest without a fight. I know neither fit the Jose mold of a full back but i’d love either of them as Doherty backup/replacement if Serge goes.

We might have seen Gedson at right back again against Orient if the game had gone ahead, given he was tried there in pre season. If he remains here on loan he could be Jose’s plan B back-up RB.

Norwich will have the parachute money which will tide them over and I suspect the players contracts have conditions whereby if they get relegated their pay reduces - perhaps not all of them but some of them. That combination will tide them over.

Lets not forget they spent a pittance when they got promoted - if anything theyre damn loaded

I really dont think they need the money and would rather keep him to get back up - the parachute payments dries up after next summer so perhaps in a year or two they may sell.

I still think that it would be good business if we could bring in Aarons and offload Aurier.

Especially if we can do a loan to buy deal similar to the one suggested for Barca.

Would help with the HG issue plus I think he is more suited to our system now that we have signed Reguilon.
