Have we signed sessegnon’s brother by mistake, Jesus Christ, looks so scared to take anyone on or even sprint by someone. WTF
But he has never gone past a player. I have been watching him as long as Spurs and I have never seen him ever go past a player. So don't know what people were expecting.

I'm not sure what sort of message it sends to the group as a whole when Dele gets picked regardless of how consistently bad he plays and Eriksen even tho he would leave tomorrow if he could.
Welcome to Mourhinos Tottenham.
The same comments we're repeated on Redcafe frequently.

Dele needs a few games on the sidelines, he's been toxic for the last few weeks, never his own fault. Team overall seems toxic atm, yelling instead of support, front line fucking passive and maoning. Painful to watch. Everyone out!
More than a few.

It’s crazy that Poch was getting criticised for not playing Moura when now it’s clear to see he’s nothing more than a headless chicken that has a worldie in him a few times a season.

It does seem that he is the modern day Ronnie Rosenthal

We've been playing pretty well in midfield. There's been good quality possession, crisp passing and movement against a deep-lying opponent. But everything is bouncing off Boro's disciplined line across the edge of the penalty box. They've organised it well and they have some good players.

Son and Lucas are finding it hard to get space. Eriksen and Dele, playing slightly further back, have all the space they want. That tells you how Boro have set up.

Sessegnon seems to have a general problem of timidity, which has been visible from match to match, especially today. He takes up good positions, receives the ball, hesitates, considers his options ... and then pops it backwards to a nearby midfielder. No crosses, few dribbles, no one-twos, nothing that might break through the line. He's been playing well inside himself since he started featuring for us. Either that or he's less talented than everyone says.

I wish we’d just be pumping minutes into Lo Celso. He might not turn out to be the answer but there’s more chance of him improving than there is of this lot improving out of the blue, after 12 months of dross.

I’d prefer to see him play shit in the hope he can improve than watch a load of these plodders ambling around.
Instead of eriksen? Maybe jose thinks he’s not quite ready yet?
but yea I’d like to see more “minutes pumped into him” lol love it

Didn't know I had
a slow motion app on my TV.
Must have engaged it
by accident.
Now I can't get the thing
out of slo-mo mode.

What has happened to us?

One word sums us up for the last year, be it Poch or Jose...

FLAT
Agreed. I don't think we're playing terribly this game, but equally we're not playing well either. We just lack a bit of vim and intensity in our play, and that seems a collective thing across the whole squad rather than any one single player in particular. And that's been the overall trend that's killed us under Poch and blunted our early positive start under Jose. If the team could just play in the zippy manner they often do during a second half (or after we've already gone a goal down) for the whole game, then a whole raft of recent ills would be made much better at a stroke, even if there was still further work to do.

Our team doesn't seem to have that drive and balls that we had when we had Moussa Dembele, a friend mentioned the other day that since we got rid of him everything has gone down hill.

Exactly, Dembele ran the whole midfield because he could take the ball from deep and keep it while moving further afield which allowed us as a team to play much higher and have the attacking players in prominent positions. Our players are now hesitant as they’re not sure whether one our crap midfield players will lose possession in a deep position and force the whole team to track back.
