Skriniar is the best defender of inter milan.. He doesn't suit the role at inter milan ... It has been said thousand of times at this thread and all over the internet ....

If he was the best defender at Inter Milan he’d be getting more game time. Particularly in important games like finals and semi-finals. Maybe he’s not playing because the coach rates other players more highly or perhaps he has a bad attitude and the coach is disciplining him. Either way it’s not good.

Do you think ashley young is the best right sided player in the world? Would you play him ahead of eriksen?

I thought any decent knowledgeable footy fans specially those who use forums already know what conte demands from his defenders and what is the situation of skriniar in this regard .. It has been said thousand of times in this thread again and again ... Just like we can't compare ndombele's struggle to son's struggle in the first year of premier league yet people still compare these situations ..

The coach of the club that reached the Europa League Final thought it better to play Young over Eriksen on the left side. Perhaps he was right. They reached the Final playing that way.

I really don’t think CB is a problem area for us, and if we do anything in that area it should be something minor like Kim Min-Jae coming in and Foyth/CCV leaving. Toby, Dier, Sanchez, Kim Min-Jae and Tanganga is a talented, well-rounded group.

Would be a pointless signing imo. We would be weakening an area we’re already short in, to strengthen an area we’re totally fine in.

Unbalances the squad, and doesn’t help the HG quota whatsoever. I don’t see the point of the deal tbh. If they wanted to send us a midfielder and some cash, then maybe. We want rid of NDombele, but swapping him for a player we don’t need, doesn’t really solve much else.

I think the deal would depend on what happens elsewhere. If we end up having no choice but to sell Ndombele, then if we swap with Skriniar and some cash and combine that with letting Foyth go to ajax and thus signing Van De Beek who can play next to Hojbjerg which pushes Lo Celso up the pitch giving us a better balance whilst not affecting the HG situation whatsoever? Of course it all depends on who wants to go where but if Ndombele really does not want to be here and we have the offer, why not strengthen our defence if we have something lined up in midfield.

Lots of moving parts in that scenario. Would love us to get VdB but I just can’t see us competing with united for him.

I don't see where he fits for them personally. They have the cash though.

Neither do I, but that won’t stop them. They are seemingly after a midfielder as they are constantly linked with Grealish.

We're not totally fine in centre back imo, not even close, I don't trust Sanchez to be consistent and especially Dier. Skriniar would be our best CB, and together with Toby they'd form a formidable central defensive partnership. Could be what defines us winning a trophy, for example.

If we chose to swap Ndombele for Skirniar, it wouldn’t be because it is a position of need. It’d be a jumpstart on getting a long-term Toby replacement in, which we’ll have to do in coming years, and an evaluation by the club that Skirniar is the level of player that you don’t turn down if you have the opportunity.

I don’t know enough about Skirniar as a player and obviously not what the club thinks of him, but that’s what the rationale has to be if we are to go for this swap.

As an aside, there’s rumors in the Italian media this morning that Conte is already intent on moving on Eriksen. Chuck him in the swap deal as well.

Don't want Eriksen back tbh, especially how he performed last 18 months

If Inter are intent on moving Skirniar and Brozovic,

We could swop Ndombele + £10m (or £15m) for those two players

And if Conte doesn’t want Eriksen and if CE doesn’t mind returning back,

We could swop Ndombele + one of (Sissoko/Aurier/Lamela/CCV) + (possibly £10m or £15m) for the three Inter players.

I know that it’s easier said than done, especially with so many players involved, but if both clubs could reach an agreement (possibly with some tweaks), it could be possible. ?‍♂️

After his, not so happy, experience in Italy, he might return with more enthusiasm (after realising that the grass, on the other side, is not always greener).

Skriniar is rated by Inter at a similar value to Ndombele, I don't think an additional £10-15m would get us both. That's the problem for me, I'm not opposed to Skriniar in theory but CB is not a priority and we'll need to use the Ndombele money elsewhere if he does go.

We may be fine and have the numbers at CB but if we have a chance to upgrade it then we should, plus how long has Toby got left at top level? It’ll save us a headache of getting in his replacement Later. Sell any surplus CB’s we have eg CCV, Foyth and use the funds raised elsewhere.

It would depend as If he comes in so we have 4 CB's then Tanganga would be seen as cover for full-back with Gedson Sess and Cirkin and we'd then look to spend the remaining budget from sales on a replacement CM and back-up striker.

Rather than if we keep ndombele then the budget would go on say the south korean CB.

Either way Jose is proving he knows exactly where to improve the squad so if he thinks this is a good part of the puzzle then fair play.
