I would have said RWB, but actually CB has to be the priority.
In reality we've got Romero who everyone would agree is far and away our #1.
Of all the others - Dier, Davies, Sanchez, Tanganga - I don't think many people would be sad to see any of them leave. If we get a couple of injuries or suspensions, our only choice at this point is to recall Rodon. Who, admittedly, I rate above Tanganga but it's still a woeful situation. You'd almost prefer bringing Paskotsi in, at least to start from the bench, and see if he's any less calamitous than our current offering.
Either way, the state of our back line is dismal.
At least with RWB, we have Doherty who can do a job (intermittently, but on his day...), and Spence who may one day start. Those two plus Emerson should tide us over until the end of the season unless someone like Porro become feasible in January.
