Could be our biggest crowd at WHL today for 37 years!!!!

February 1982 we had 47,241 for the League Cup Semi 2nd Leg v West Brom

Correction, we had 48,108 v Everton when Neville Southall made the best save I've ever seen on 3/4/1985

Could get close to those today....

Its official:

We are pleased to announce that this afternoon’s Test Event match between Spurs Legends and Inter Forever at our new home will be broadcast live on our digital channels.
Fans will be able to view on the Club’s website, official Facebook page and Twitter from 5pm UK time ahead of the 5.30pm kick-off.
Our pre-match show will bring you all the build-up before the live match action gets underway, with fan favourites including Rafael van der Vaart, Jurgen Klinsmann, David Ginola and Robbie Keane taking to the field in our famous colours once again.
Please note, there will also be live television coverage of the match in Norway (TV2), Italy (Sky Italia) and Malaysia (Astro), so we hope fans will be able to enjoy the action no matter where they are in the world.

Decided not to go today and save my first experience of the stadium for a competitive game. Really regretting it now.

They need to do something with those corporate seats in East lower. Can't have almost 3 bays of seats empty so close to pitch.

Absolutely unreal the place is, so happy to be home...as others have said it has to be seen to be believed, queues for food/beer were a little slow and they ran out of beer at half time where i was but that should all sort itself out over time.

My biggest gripe with the stadium ( and only serious gripe to be fair).

There are enough corporate sections in the stadium without carving up the East Lower as well, and on a personal note meant I couldn’t sit in or even close to my equivalent seat in the East Lower unless I won the lottery.

WHL on steroids! Steep stands are great. The Marketplace is complete chaos and stewards prevent you from going down there. 3.5k people and they shut if off. The bars on the next floor up are ok though. Pie and Pint - they ran out of the qualifying beer so couldn’t offer that. Grrrr. Biggest problem was that I used to sit on the shelf and I’m sitting in an inferior place which is costing me more money. Will I get over the novelty of NWHL? Time will tell.

See the comment below yours. Same thing really about the East vs the new South

Yep was mental down in the marketplace bit. The parklane end is gonna be chaotic for full capacity games.

Was also one big reason why teams didn’t like coming to the old WHL. Having to play up against the whole of the East Stand was intimidating

Can’t be the same running along there while people are eating prawn sandwiches

Are you now in the South Stand or still in the East Lower? I’m still in the East Lower, but instead of near the half way line I’m now going to be level with edge of the penalty area.

First thing I thought when I saw the videos of the Market Place during the first test event was that I can’t imagine how packed it will be at full capacity. I will definitely check it out, but if it continues to resemble a pub on New Years Eve I’ll be giving it a swerve. As long as I can find a place somewhere else where I can get a Guinness or two I’ll be happy.

I was in the Paxton upper and a few times we got a hint of what the Park Lane will be capable of. It is going to be a wall of noise and it raised the hairs on my arms a couple of times. This stadium is incredible! I knew it was going to be good but it was even better than I imagined.
