Just looking at the match report it says that we had an attendance of 41,244. That’s almost 4K Short of what we needed. It ain’t going to be an issue is it?

That's 4k short of the max capacity, but more than we needed.

I'm sure we only needed 40k for the second test

I think we only needed Forty thousand. Forty-five thousand was the maximum capacity for the game.

I like the idea that we sold 45,000 but one bloke didn’t show up so we have to go back to Wembley

Everything quicker today. Entry, food, beer. Only issue is the market place area in the south. Mega busy.
Not so for me. Apparently a fire alarm went off, which meant the escalators and lifts stopped, so we all had to stand around until they got them going again. One thing that struck me was the absence of stairs! How on earth would everyone get out in an emergency without stairs?
The stadium was magnificent though. Our 'white wall' is something else. Can't wait to see it full.

Wouldn’t a stopped escalator become basically stairs?

Gutted the palace game won’t be on TV. Really hoping that BT at the very least will just be allowed to show as a one off . I know a few times that some channels have done that for other sports but I guess tv licensing is so wrapped up it is nigh on impossible. Even be happy if Sky Sports we’re allowed to show a full 90 minutes highlight package ala Game of the day on Saturdays.

Will try and stream it but my internet isn’t the greatest

It looked very full to me so I'm surprised the attendance was only 41K.

Are you now in the South Stand or still in the East Lower? I’m still in the East Lower, but instead of near the half way line I’m now going to be level with edge of the penalty area.

First thing I thought when I saw the videos of the Market Place during the first test event was that I can’t imagine how packed it will be at full capacity. I will definitely check it out, but if it continues to resemble a pub on New Years Eve I’ll be giving it a swerve. As long as I can find a place somewhere else where I can get a Guinness or two I’ll be happy.
No, we’ve migrated to the South. Combination of costs (I buy 2 ST’s) and the fact the East still doesn’t offer consessions. Although I don’t quite qualify, someone else in our group does and in the nearish future we will all do so. The club has said we can’t change seats but we will see. Changing to consessions will not be encouraged though I bet!

Just back from the Legends game.

Well and truly blown away by the new stadium, absolutely stunning. Can’t wait for Wednesdays game.

Love the fact that one of the biggest gripes seems to be that not everyone in the stadium can fit into the Marketplace. As if that's the expected thing in most stadia. Shows just how quickly people's expectations adjust these days. ?

Wasnt this just a trial run for us rather than anything else? We needed 45k or whatever to prove what exactly? And if it didnt go well then what?
We've already said wednesdays game is at NWHL we didnt wait until after today to see how it went.
