The allure of Pochettino is that IF we are successful with him (i.e. a trophy) it'll mean that much more. The pinnacle of my Tottenham fanhood, like most, was during his tenure, and the joy I had when we were at the peak of our powers was just indescribable. But, we still fell short, it all kind of flamed out, and while the dream of winning with Poch has that fantastical element to it, I just want something fresh, something to build and grow with and truly believe in. I think we saw peak-Poch with us, and it still wasn't quite good enough.

We need to start new. Top to bottom. But, because it's Levy, he'll go for Pochettino to try and win the fans back over and stay relevant right now, instead of doing what I consider to be the right way and really starting a new cycle from scratch.

I 100% agree. Levy will get poch as he'll know it'll keep the majority of the fanbase away from him.

You wankers, you lot are wanking over Potter when we got Nuno, now that he has Levy's most coveted credential, you don't want him

Don't you realise he was sacked by Chelsea, which means he has completed half of his Tottenham orientation

I would be happy with lots of different attacking managers but I don't see why Poch wouldn't be a good option.

His burn out at the end wasnt just his fault, the club should shoulder loads of the blame.

He went to PSG and did whatever, as we're seeing with Galtier that club is ridiculous so you can't judge him on it

I'd hope Poch has reflected on his time , would see his own faults and maybe Levy's so he can manage both better.

He would bring back such a feel good factor to the club and we desperately need that at least right now.

Plus maybe the fanbase at least needs to get his return out of their system before we can move on.

He’d reunite the fanbase. We might need that if we sell Kane in the summer and the scum win the league. We know why levy will make the move, to placate fans, but he might have no choice but to do it.

Said in Poch thread, I agree but not under Levy and a lot of the same squad that got him sacked. Including returning loan players who will likely be kept. Its a no no for me.

If it was new owners and majority of the players who were there with him have left, i'd be all for it

Whatever the wrong move is, levy will make it, that’s all that’s certain.

I just can't see levy not appointing poch
He needs the fans back on side and that is his easy win, if he doesn't appoint him and poch goes and does well in the prem levy would be absolutely slaughtered

I want pochettino because a line needs to be drawn under the whole thing and people will not let it go until he comes back.

Personally I think he will be a disaster but the way this club is being run it's hard to care.

I’ll have you know I stopped wanking about 23 seconds ago so I’d prefer it if you didn’t label me as one.

Getting Poch back would buy ENIC a year - that's probably as far forward as they are thinking.

Out of interest, why do you reckon that?

Looking at the photos of him from his 51st birthday celebrations he looks lean and ready to go.

I can see where he is coming from. It seems inevitable and everyone loves him. There will be a bounce but the culture and mentality of the club remains. We don't know how to win trophies.
