You’re still making that claim on a baseless assumption.
I'm basing it on the poll having a huge majority of votes for Nagelsmann, and then swiftly ends up being the polar opposite when it became evident he no longer will become our manager.

This is the source https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/tottenham-feyenoord-slot-tekloese-30035202

And this is the stuff of note from it:
Tottenham's chances of landing Slot are much better. The 44-year-old has told agent Rafaela Pimenta that he sees his future in the Premier League and meetings have taken place despite denials from Spurs.

Slot has a £6million release clause in his contract that can be triggered next year - and it will cost Tottenham around £10 million to prise him away from Feyenoord this summer.

The reporter at the Mirror isn't exactly the greatest. But on this occasion I'm hoping he's right!

I am hoping it’s not Slot only because I can’t deal with the endless play on words we will have to put up with……..Arne new signings Sloting in nicely.

If we do get him, the club shop should get a load of 'Arne's slots' t shirts printed up. I'd definitely order one.

This has the Conte > Nuno > Conte vibes to it :(
By no means I'm I implying that Slot is Nuno levels. It's just stinks of we're so desperate to get JN even if he's not that interested. Maybe he thought the Chelsea job was his and that didn't pan out so he/his agents puts him back in the frame for the Spurs job.

All opinion and I hope I'm wrong on all counts and if JN does come here, it will be because he wants to, rather than doing us a favour for great pay.

Should we be worried about hiring someone who actually wants to come to Spurs?

I mean I judge my wife and friends for wanting to spend time with me.

I think we need to see how things play out, all this assumption of whether managers want to come or doing us a favour blah is just supporter narrative. I think if the top two are Naglesmann and Slot then I’m happy with either of those and just hope the supporters are patient and get behind the new manager and team

I am almost certain it’s all but done with Slot.

he is talking like he is preparing fans of his departure.

feyenord are saying publicly words that suggest some resistance to slot leaving so fans can see they have tried.

you have our other targets like Amorim and Alonso publicly saying they are staying at their current clubs.

I predict noise will get louder as week goes on and soon as Feyenord play final game next week it will all be finalised.

This.

So Nagelsmann story is Castles inventing it from thin air, but Slot is true because we want it to be?

(not to you @Now it's Spursonal).

We've clearly spoken to both, and I expect are speaking to both, whilst we recruit the DOF who we want to to be in alignment.

Until the DOF is rubber stamped, actually ruling out Nagelsmann would be foolish and negligent.

I don't get what the club is trying to achieve with this PR? Just don't comment.
