Interestingly, Maddison & Eze are also their clients. Worthing keeping an eye on as the window develops. 👀
I know the initial buzz around both these players has diminished somewhat, but I can't see either them dropping down to the National League South. :cautious:

So I have a Celtic mate (I know I know)..

He’s convinced a striker like Kane won’t work with Postecoglu’s system. Says he likes a fast, agile and hard working CF that will press like a maniac and we’d be better off selling him and building a young energetic front line. Will be interesting to find out what we do here
Ha ha 😂😂 the worst thing Ange could do if we sign him, is saying it's okay to sell Kane because he doesn't need him in his system... as one of the first things on the to-do-list, after walking through the front door at Spurs... that won't happen... for sure...

Ange strikes me as a clever and sensible guy 😊

I'd be happy if Ange is the man, but reports of a two year deal with a options makes me worried that the club aren't very convinced with him and won't give him the backing he'll need to rebuild the team.
2 year + a one year option aligns with the Poch deal at Chelsea - coincidence?

Ange Postecoglou to oversee squad clearout as Spurs prepare manager appointment

Seven first-team players – including captain Hugo Llloris – may be moved on with Ange Postecoglou on verge of signing two-year contract

ByMatt Law and John Percy5 June 2023 • 12:55pm

Tottenham Hotspur are close to sealing the appointment of Ange Postecoglou after Celtic granted the London club permission to speak to the head coach.
And Postecoglou’s imminent arrival at Spurs is expected to precede a huge attempted clear-out as the club look to re-shape the first-team squad for the 57-year-old.
Postecoglou is expected to sign a contract that could run for three years and cost Tottenham less than £5 million in compensation. He is keen to bring his Celtic assistant John Kennedy with him to Spurs.
Tottenham are believed to be willing to let go as many as seven first-team players, led by captain Hugo Llloris and Ivan Perisic, in what could be a big summer of change.
The futures of Davinson Sánchez and Ryan Sessegnon are also in doubt, while Spurs have decided not to sign Arnaut Danjuma, who spent the second half of last season on loan at the club, while Clément Lenglet may be allowed to return to Barcelona.
Bids, should they be forthcoming, could also be listened to for Ben Davies or Eric Dier.
Tottenham’s disappointing campaign, in which they finished eighth and missed out on qualification for Europe, is understood to have prompted a will to clear out a number of players this summer.
On top of the first-team players who could be allowed to leave, Spurs will attempt to sell Giovani Lo Celso, Sergio Reguilón and Harry Winks, who spent last season out on loan, but have not made a decision on the future of midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele spent last season on loan at Napoli and made 30 league appearances as the Italian club won the Serie A title and sources have indicated that Postecoglou may wish to take a close look at him before a decision on the 26-year-old’s future is made.
One player Tottenham do not want to sell is Harry Kane, who is set to be the subject of a bid from Real Madrid.
Real have made Kane their number one target to replace Karim Benzema, but chairman Daniel Levy remains determined to try to keep his star man and would demand at least £100 million.

Can we all agree with the fact Nagelsmann going to PSG with Henry as his assistant means he was definitely not right for us at this point in time?
Nagelsmann does have a bit of an ego to be fair... I doesn't surprise me that he is holding out for a mega deal... It's all going too fast for him at the moment... IMO.

As much as he was the sexy choice. I do think it would have ended in tears.

Its amazing how many people have already erased Nuno from their minds...
If I recall correctly the positive narrative being spun when it looked like Nuno was getting the job was that while Wolves had turned shit in the last year or so of his tenure he did an impressive job on the whole. I think there was even one season for wolves that people were bringing stats out showing how good they were under prime Nuno but I can’t remember what stats.

IMO people generally become more optimistic once the unveiling happens and once the season is close to starting. I know it doesn’t seem like that always but that’s the general way it goes imo. I don’t think it’ll be too different with Ange.
