It's deja fucking vue by the sounds of things.
Cos Bloody Mick, I'm not sure how much longer I can invest my time & my emotions into the Club I've followed all my Life while we've got these clowns running OUR Club. Seriously Robbie I've had enough

This is one of the biggest and most crucial points. Even though we're crap, if bentancur was fit all season we'd be much better. It's one of the reasons city win so much, because their crazy squad levels mean they swap someone out if they get injured or lose form.
Yeah and people forget at one point we had Kulu, richie, Moura and Romero injured. We had to play peri up front with Kane

I want Ryan Mason as our next manager. I want the club and fans to back him and give him time. Given time he can bring an identity and a mission back to Tottenham. I’m fed up of us following the other clubs and just chasing these fancy managers from the continent or ex Chelsea managers. What happened to “to dare is to do”. We have no identity and are just going from one catastrophe to another in a “to copy is to fail” mode. I also don’t understand why the fans would give more time (for failure) to these managers from other leagues compared to Ryan Mason, we should be proud we have a young English man, one of our own at the helm, but no we don’t we just highlight his shortcomings and dismiss his potential and ability, while salivating about the stats of these exotic mangers from other countries football leagues (dismissing their shortcomings). The blooming game is inside out it’s bonkers. What’s wrong with doing our thing for once rather than copying every other bleeding club and going for the shiny thing in the foreign leagues ?
Rant over.

Although I like the sentiment of your post for me it would be a gamble because of his lack of managerial experience. I also feel that a lot of our players wouldn't respond to this appointment as they are not English.

Don’t see how Levy can mess up the brief?

By all accounts we want a young, progressive & attacking manager.

There’s genuinely loads of candidates which fit that description?

I suppose we did end up with Nuno though 🤣

Hardly surprising, a leopard 🐆 doesn’t change its spots.

Just have to hope the dart 🎯 lands on a good suitable option regardless of the messy process to get there.
Even if we get the right coach will anything change behind the scenes that will enable us to succeed? As far as I'm concerned the best case scenario as long as Levy is at the helm is we replicate what we had with Poch i.e. an overachieving team that plays good football but falls short of actually winning big honours.

As far as I'm concerned we should have won the league while Poch was there and with a different owner/chairman at the helm we would have done. It's criminal that we pissed that away and that we're potentially about to do the same for years to come.

Yeah you'd think that by the law of averages he'd manage to stumble into a half decent appointment this time.

The manager market and our squad are both much better than they were 2 years ago.

Will be genuinely quite a feat for Levy to properly screw up this window and get another Nuno-level candidate.

Nagelsmann, De Zerbi, Slot, Kompany, Alonso..

So many young progressive managers out there, for Levy to mess this up it really would be clutching defeat from the jaws of victory.

In my opinion he should be pulling out all the stops for Nagelsmann - begging, giving him the DOF or type of DOF he wants , giving him a budget and the option to be ruthless with existing players. If that doesn't work then move down the list ( De Zerbi would be next for me).

I really really hope be isn't pissing about trying to be too clever for his own good.
