Not going to get too carried away but - if we don’t appoint one of Poch, JN, Slot or De Zerbi, then I am seriously concerned it is going to be Rodgers or Potter and I just don’t see that working AT ALL

I just know that the drop off to our next candidate is going to be disgustingly big, it has to be nagelsmann but there’s no chance, if I had to choose maybe I’d go Amorim but even that feels like a step down.

No update my end but if that really is it and he's staying at Feyenoord then I honestly give up with this club. We are a complete and utter joke! Slot is honestly perfect for us and if we can't prize him away from Feyenoord then something is seriously seriously wrong!
Maybe he just wants to manage Feyenoord in the CL. Might be more about his own goals then anything we have or haven’t done.

Who knows currently what's going on. Could be Slot strengthening Feyenoord's negotiation position whilst also ensuring it looks to their fans like he didn't want to leave. Quotes also came out following the rumoured fee it would cost to get him and his staff. He was flirting with the idea of leaving only a few days ago so it's very strange for him to do a complete 180.

He has actively been pushing himself towards us for weeks according to ITK he was desperate to join yesterday, 1 chat and he's staying! Maybe negotiation tactics by Feyenoord

Seems really weird. Maybe we just flat out refused to pay 20m to get him and his assistants out of their contract.

Next one for me would be Ange 🇦🇺
Yep Big Ange the only one left that could get excited about really.

Cannot believe this, really thought we’d get Slot done, ffs 🤦‍♂️ 😔

To be fair this is why loads on here have been worrying as it’s never straight forwards with us.

Big Ange would be good but not real links with him, JN but that’s seemingly off the table, De Zerbi no chance, Amorim meh not for me and no where near as exciting football or as likeable and fun as Slot would’ve been, then we are down to the likes of L.Enrique, Rodgers, Potter, T.Frank etc.

Only other exciting one would be Gallardo but again no links.

Big Ange next up for me is Slot is off the table 😢 but if Slot is off then anyone else for me is a big step down / disappointment, he was the one just like Ten Haag was the one in summer 2021.

🤨😬

There’s other ways to go about leaving and making it look good, this flat out says he wants to stay and completely dismissed the rumours.
