I do also feel that the chocolate teapot midfield we put out today did the defence no favours. Yes, we were more creative but the defence had no protection. Even in the second half we still looked vulnerable in the middle of the park.
It's almost as though Wanyama's permanently crocked, Dier's in dire form, and Winks and Sissoko both picked up needless suspensions.

Shocking again 1st half. If I were a Norwich supporter, I'd be gutted.

I can't remember a more calamitous set of defenders. Who didn't think with Foyth, Aurier and Gazzaniga all starting - we wouldn't either gift them goals, or have a sending off. The fact they didn't have a shot 2nd half, yet still scored, says it all.
Mourinho ain't improving us at the back, with these defenders.

Battled for a point, and should be thankful for it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Fail to see the funny side here. First 30 mins or so looked terrible and very much out of his depth. As the game wore on he grew into it and towards the end of the second half was one of the best players on the pitch. Overall I'd say he was good, second half, close to brilliant.

Let’s be honest, it wasn’t a great performance. But there were signs there that our expensive signings that Poch wanted did a bit right? He said they wouldn’t be ready for two years. That’s not good enough. Especially when you say the team you have is good enough. That you ran into the ground. We’ll get top four, not because of Poch but despite him.

Is there any need to shit on Poch here? I mean what does it achieve?

It's as unnecessary as blaming Mourinho for every shit performance.

He was our best player along with Eriksen. Very encouraging performance.

I like to see Tanganga give a go now, he looked good pre season, Jose must know what he is like and obviously likes him enough to put him on the bench. Id go with him and Toby next game.

I would like to see him get some playing time against Boro in the FA Cup.

No reason not to have Dier as DM today. Bad form or not.

Sissoko and Winks are not defensive midfielders.

Who's Wanyama. I thought he was just a myth ?

So sad to see.
I hope we get rid of foyth asap ! Never want to see him in a spurs jersey again.

Dele looked like he didn't want to play today.

Really hope we will go for RB, CB, LB, GK, DM now in January ?

On a positive note:
Ndombele was good today. Lewis should’ve been sent off by denying a goal opportunity and Foyth should’ve been rewarded a free kick

Whilst the majority of your post was bollocks, the main point I have to make is it’s called a SHIRT (y)

On the post-match Pitt-Brooke Athletic Q&A, with all the Serge criticism he said we're linked to 'Bogle at right back'. I can't figure out if it is a typo, or if I'm just not up to date with Football Manager players.

For all the hype, Aarons didn't stand out to me today.

As usual with spurs, a real opportunity wasted and yet another game we'll look back on in May and wonder why we finished 11th. Fed up of us constantly wasting opportunities.

Alli seemed to go back to his annoying worst in trying to flick everything that came near him.

Really strange to see Sessegnon be so negative. I think we expected a young Danny Rose, but he did nothing but go backwards and sideways.

I don't know where this "Ndombele was brilliant throughout" nonsense is coming from. Actually, I probably do: he was very good after half time and most people here are really goldfish.

Let's just be clear about this: the primary reason we had zero control over midfield in the first half was that Ndombele was not fighting for the ball, he was waiting it for him to come to him. And then losing it, or not even winning it in the first place.

Nothing evidences this better than the two occasions when a Spurs defender skied a clearance and, instead of putting his body in the way, establishing control of the space and winning the ball, the way Kane would have or Dembélé would have, he waited for it to drop from a convenient distance, leaving a more aggressive Norwich midfielder to win it instead. He went on a few promising looking dribbles and, every time, he lost the ball to a more committed opponent.

In the second half, it was evident that he had been ordered to up the intensity, because that's what he did and it worked: he was very good. But he has to learn this and apply it every week: in England, you don't get the ball unless you fight for it.

He was next to useless until half time: pretty in fits, but ineffective.
