Still hoping that midweek results mean that Everton have to give there all at The Woolwich , if they go there safe don't see them putting up much of a fight they are poor away from home.
Draw for us is fine but we cannot play for the draw , Antonio is very experienced for a game like this sure he will get it right.

No TV news yet for Sky in UK , expect they are waiting to see the midweek results before choosing what to televise, I see that our game is due for coverage by many satellite channels outside of UK.

Bentancur and Emerson both limped off on Sunday. Hope ok as we are really getting close to 'bare bones' status without them

I agree with you to an extent but there is a air of cockiness about some and as others have said all it takes is a red card/dodgy pen/keeper error and the worst could happen. I just don't want it to backfire on us as a fanbase. Having said all that we should go in to the game confident in our own ability and mentality then hopefully everything will work out just fine.
The same cockiness happened before the Arsenal and Burnley games and Arsenal loosing to NU. There were equal over cautious posts as well. The bottom line is we can’t alter fate. We can have fears and expectations-superstitions or conspiracies. It’s over to Conte and the team to get it right. Only they will know how they feel. We are irrelevant.

Yep pretty much this, people can worry all they like but if we can’t pick up a point against Norwich in our most important game this season then we don’t deserve to be in the CL anyway
Agree although it would be devastating for all the obvious reason. Losing can not be acceptable. I will disown Tottenham if they fail.

I hear what you are saying and that could be the case, but we absolutely must assume Arsenal will beat Everton, and we do our job and leave nothing at all to chance.
Oh 100%. We’ve got to go and focus on our job and get that early goal. I just think that the Arsenal team will also have a really hard time.

True but I still worry , Norwich can play with no fear and will want to perform before their own fans ,we will be the ones under pressure , just don't want that extra time goal at home to Brighton to come back and haunt us.

I think there will be a lot of toxic energy at the emirates. The fans have already given it up and all calling for Arteta’s head. It’ll be a struggle for their young players.
Weirdly enough, us taking the lead might affect them. If Norwich score first Arsenal are more likely to win imo. Have to get the first goal on Sunday.

Glad Conte and the boys have the rest of the week to prepare and focus but man this is going to feel like such a long wait until Sunday! I can't stop thinking about it. What an opportunity to finish this crazy season on a high.

One game left, our destiny in our hands, let's do this! COYS

A early goal for us would be great, going to be a tense day for sure. We have to make sure we are up for it because Norwich will have a go for sure

So much resting on this game against Norwich it's quite frightening.
Get CL games and Conte stays without a doubt, CL prize money plus revenue from at least home group games means Levy can start counting the money and work out how many sausage rolls he needs to order for next season, Paratici can use the CL carrot to entice who knows to the club.
Roll on Sunday.

I'd love to know who's been cocky?

Most of what I've seen on here, is about how we're going to shit the bed, because that's what Tottenham do.

If we lost to Norwich it would be an absolute disgrace. They've not beaten a decent team all season.

Honestly thought we had no chance of CL football back in November. If Conte gets us there it's a ridiculously good achievement that I'm sure will be downplayed by the media.

Norwich are not good surely in the bag now? I always thought Cantwell was a great player but he doesn't even play for them anymore.

Can't wait for CL nights again ???

There are some who are celebrating our CL qualification already, like there isn’t another game to play.
There’s then the backlash against this from members who still have scars from previous unlikely capitulations who are just trying to temper expectations to avoid others having such a bad experience if the worst should happen.

Norwich have beaten 3 teams at home this season: Soton, Everton and Burnley. They’ve failed to score in 9 of their 18 home games this season in the league, and they’ve conceded 38 goals in those games, including 17 in their last 6.

It’s going to need a freakish combination of events for us to lose this. If we go a man down, we’d still expect to keep them out. If we don’t play well, chances are they won’t either. If we give them a goal head start I don’t think they have the defence to keep us out with Kane, Son and Kulu all a class above anything in their ranks.

It’s ok to feel confident ahead of this one - and for context I was worried about Marine!!!
