I thought everyone played well, Harry did well with the tactics, we dealt with Norwich perfectly, and the players are showing the work rate, composure and understanding that could really take us anywhere.

As the guys on sky said, who would improve us?
Iker Casillas?

Just shows how far we've come when the Sky folks are talking about us like that :hump:

Our first team is about as strong as it gets. It's the striker strength in depth that we need to work on.

Also our backup to the wingers isn't like for like. We have two fast wingers in Bale and Lennon but when one gets injured we have to completely change our set up.

True. I know we have Gio, but we could really do with some serious replacements if we need some pace.

Incidentally I've just seen that this was our 6th away win of the season. More than City, and one behind United. Brilliant form.

As long as we have a striker before the City game I'll be happy. Another winger would be nice but I don't want to be embarrassed at City.

Ray Wilkins is trending on twitter...

The Ray Wilkins "my word" count stands at 52 for the first half; "young man" (27) and "smashing" (11) are having quiet days.

I don't think Norwich were that poor. I think Kaboul and Walker took out their phyical presence up front and Sandro and Parker stopped them playing through the centre.

We played some really good stuff but this game highlighted how much we need more than one midfielder on the pitch with pace. Bale gave them a hard time, if Lennon was playing we'd have won even more comfortably.

This.

Easy to overlook the role we play in making teams look poor.
I think this is a flaw that many seem to have. We made them look like mugs.

A great team performance with improvements still to come.

"Splendid" made a big impact today. Don't know how many times he said it but it was alot! I do enjoy listening to him though, much more than Alan Smith.

This game confirmed the importance of Sandro. To me its a fight between Lennon VDV and Defoe for the last spot

Just got in from the game. Top night and performance by the lads with a fully deserved victory at the end of it. Long may that continue. Special mention to Sandro, Walker, Kaboul & Modric who were immense today but Bale was MOTM for his goals and work ethic.

p.s. Just one gripe, why the fuck were a few fans singing about Martin Jol when not even one chant had started off for Harry....? I found that a tad disrespectful if I'm honest.

Do we even have any songs for Harry? He most definitely deserves it.

I was in G block row NN and a fair few fans started that MJ chant off, they were soon drowned out by "HR blue and white army", but the point is why start that chant off in the first place....

Exactly, defies belief really. Third in the League, when was the last time it was this good to be a Spurs fan?

About time Harry got a bit more loving I think.

And people say football fans are ****s?

Seriously, if anyone on here was part of that group that was singing for Jol, you are a complete and utter ****.

Fair play for making the trip SD, I wanted to but could only get one ticket out of the group due to loyalty points.
