I've never really seen anything of Blanchflower other than youtube clips, but I have the understanding that if I got to see him play, he'd have been my favourite player. Technique and awareness, coupled with intelligence and temperance.

Spurs had played Friday (h) v Cov, Sat @West Ham and then Monday @ Ipswich.
Six games in four days. I was 16 and was at them all. Barry Davies mentioned the congested
Easter fixture programme at the end if the clip.

The 2nd leg in Milan. Can't find a goldarn clip yet.
Mullery - scores in a 1-1 draw to see us through to the final. --- P.S. I wasn't there.

50 years ago today 3/5/1972 I bunked off school, got on the rattler to Wolverhampton and watched the 1st leg of the UEFA cup final.
What a night, in the South Bank of Molynyeux a massive terrace full of many many thousands of Spurs fans.
.
A Glory, Glory night, never forgotten, made friends that night that I still know now, lost a few along the way sadly.
Epic isn’t a powerful enough word to describe it.
