Time to revive after JJ's tweet: PEA, and song by Saint Etienne.

I feel like no matter what happens in the matches today, Spursking is going to be bashing a few out to youtube highlight reels of PEA tonight

Really hope this is true and relates to earlier ITK of us getting 2 strikers. Would leave to see PEA, Bale and a top striker at no9 in a 433. Goals, pace and creativity, then we would have the likes of Lennon, Townsend and Sig as back up or if we change formation (one thing I like now is we do change things up more to expose other teams weaknesses or counter threats and this has changed games numerous times this season in our favour).

bloody yes please if true. but actually not as a lone striker as I don't think he would be successful in our league. but as a wide forward, fucking hell

The rumoured transfer targets this window seem to have the AVB stamp on them; as opposed to January and before when it was clear someone else was selecting them... Good to see.

Really want this guy, which is why I think it probably won't happen. But he has the potential to be one of the top 10 strikers in the world IMO.

Yeah he has shown that last years breakout season was that and not just a purple patch. He has improved as a player too better passing, link up play and vision, great pace, great enthusiasm, really seems to enjoy playing, the only downsides are still pretty poor aerially and a shite haircut, but hey you can't have everything

IMO would be a fantastic signing, superb finisher with great technical ability.

Really? Haven't seen much of him play but that's a very bold statement

Potential is still potential but when I've seen him play he's just incredibly positive in an attacking sense, always looking for the forward move, and being at the heart of nearly everything good that his team does. He's able to attack with pace and power but usually knows when to find a teammate when they're better placed than him. His ball retention is good too considering much of his play is made in the final third off the pitch.

So I just got home from a wedding and saw the news/tweet.

Dear Lord I hope it's true. Perfect signing for us. Fits the 4-3-3 as a wide forward, the 4-2-3-1 as a winger/striker, puts in delicious crosses, beats defenders with pace or the dribble and while his shooting can sometimes be off the mark, it never stops him from going back in for more.

I'm trying not to get too excited right now. But he's a fantastic player.

You not worried about the quotes from him saying he would decline us if we approached due to the whole saga with him and agents before?
