I'll have a mixed bag of memories of Rose as and when he leaves. Will never forget that debut goal against Arsenal though, no one can take that away from him or us: just magnificent.

I would drag my dick through a mile of broken glass for there to be an obligation to buy him in the summer.

Newcastle have agreed to pay £2 million to take left-back Rose for the remainder of the campaign in what constitutes a boost to manager Steve Bruce.

Rose had vowed to see out the remaining 18 months of his Tottenham contract, but has fallen down the pecking order under head coach Jose Mourinho.

The Newcastle loan will give Rose the chance to hold on to his place in the England squad for next summer’s European Championships.

Newcastle will have the option to buy Rose at the end of the loan and the 29-year-old appears to have played his last game for Spurs.

Will be interesting to see how he gets on at Newcastle tbh, when on form he’s great but clearly he hasn’t been for a while

I’m actually pleased to see him go, and that’s a damn shame.

Wonder how many of the Newcastle squad he’s had to google.

Good riddance.

Official on Sky now. Sad to see him go. I actually thought he was one of our better players against Ajax for example and lots of fond memories of him back in the day. I'll accept maybe now is right to let him leave particularly with recent mourinho comments
