I guess it’s a bit chicken and egg in terms of where good tactics/ motivation/ team cohesion end and in a player improvement begin, but I would suggest that in fact the two feed into each other. A stable, drilled side with a clear identity and balance is an environment conducive to a player playing regularly, performing well and improving, but at the same time a well coached player will improve, evolve and play a part in that balanced, high performing team.A bit like southgate did with trippier at the world cup?
Poch gets the team playing well, when they do each individual looks good.
