Oh for FUCKS sake. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in............:D

Levy hasn't created the conditions where Bale is obtainable. Madrid have. Bale has. The way his last couple of years at Madrid have gone have done all of that, all of the things each party has done, claimed and counter claimed have done all that. NOT Daniel Levy. If he was playing under a manager who he got on with, there's no way he'd even be close to being sold and certainly no way Levy would buy him..

But for all of the above there is no way we would have a sniff, it really, really really has got fuck all to do with any new stadium, genius chess moves or dazzling grand strategy by Levy. But the deal is there and Levy is (hopefully) doing it. So well done from that perspective.

And that's it. I'm not just out now, i'm out out.

Please stay out. And to the rest of you. Don't bloody give him a reason to come back in on this.

No chance. Bale will be 9-10. Reggie will be 5.5/6 in line with Doc

Well then we don’t want them ;)

There’s no chance Bale will be 9s given the goal and assist threat, he’ll be right up there with Abu and Salah as a point machine. Regulion, I just picked the most expensive defender, just coz ;)

Who's downplaying? It's a deal, a complex deal for sure but one that pretty much any chairman of any football club would do, it's not so riddled with intricacy that there's only a few people in the world that could manage it. We're not talking cracking the Enigma machine here.

I'm not suggesting he deserves no credit and like I said, fair play to him IF it happens but Genius? Masterstroke? Nah. Not for me.
Except “any chairman” of “any football club” don’t have the same challenges Levy does.

Would this be as big an achievement if Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool or Man Utd were to get this across the line? I don’t think so.

what if Leicester, or Sheff Utd did this? Genius I’d say. Like Everton’s capture of Rodriquez.

punching consistently above our weight when transfers have been more challenging for clubs without healthy donors, this would in my opinion be a masterstroke.

Ok, calm down.

There are obviously many reasons why this is possible, like with all transfers.

But would this be at all possible if we were still at WHL? Undeniably no.

The grand plan has always been to move to a big stadium, super-charge the profile of the club and make bigger deals possible, like Ndombele (although he's turned out shit), Lo Celso and now Bale.

Denying that is... denying reality.

Okay, time to get over excited and set ourselves up for heartache. How are we all lining the side up if we pull off the moves for Bale and Reguilon?

It’s definitely going to be a push for Dele. He either pushes himself to win a spot now or regresses (imo).

I'm getting bored of this Levy: Genius or Fraud talk ?

Maybe we could get back to being worried whenever there's a new report that states the Bale deal is "close, but not done" ? ...

Don't worry A&C is just having a hissy because the bsodl recruitment drive is in full effect. He can hear the sound of the pitchforks hitting the ground, all the way down in his dungeon of banstick sodomy.

I'd say either:

lloris
Doherty dier toby/sanchez reguilon
lo celso Hojbjerg ndombele
bale kane son

or

lloris
dier toby sanchez
Doherty lo celso Hojbjerg reguilon
bale kane son

or (and this might be too attacking)

lloris
Doherty dier toby/sanchez reguilon
lo celso hojberg
bale dele son
kane

Injuries didn't help, as well as prioritising of Ronaldo. But, ultimately, he was always considered to be a player of great moments not great games at Real Madrid. He wasn't seen to contribute much apart from goals and assists, now obviously those are the two most important things so most Real Madrid fans before the last 2/2 1/2 years saw him as useful and effective without being particularly brilliant.

Tbh. Most the real games I watched it seemed that the other players didn’t seem to pass to him that often. Especially the first season. I totally believe that Ronaldo was behind this and had his nose put out of joint when Bale arrived. Without Ronaldo in the team Bale would have been the superstar. And probably had even more goals and assists.
