Any good yesterday?
Looked like Harry Redknapp had a word before the game and told him to run about a bit.Any good yesterday?
He is not used to the physicality of the premier league, yet.Any good yesterday?
I cannot even remember him coming on against Norwich, but he had a good cameo against Watford.Found it hard to impose himself in any way. In the first game against Norwich I actually thought he drifted into areas that were difficult for him to receive the ball. Against Southampton he hassled well and had good energy but that was about it really. Too early to tell as we haven't seen him express himself yet and once he does I'm pretty sure we'll see a completely different player.
Would be good to see him in a few home games where we'll have more general control of the game and where he can have more touches with the ball and more time with it. Just needs time to feel more comfortable and confident IMO, which is to be expected. Can't expect too much of him too soon.

I’m with you. Saw nothing, not a hint. But I might be wrong too!Good players are able to show their ability even if they appear for a cameo or still adapting to the rigours of the premier league. Lo celso showed that, eriksen showed that, and lucas as well. You could tell from the way they ran, their touches and turns. Even if they seemed lost at times, you could see their abilities.
Gedson, on the other hand, i did not see that in that match against soton.
I might be wrong though, so feel free to have a go.

Pulling this over from the transfer thread, because it’s the best thing I’ve seen on him and everyone should watch.
Really think there’s a ton to like about this transfer. According to the video, he was more highly touted coming out of the academy than Joao Felix and after a solid start in the first team was misused as a right winger when Benfica replaced their manager. The video further adds that the deeper he plays in central midfield the better he’s been, exactly what we need.
Plus he already speaks English, his family lives in London, and we have the best Portuguese manager in history. And if he doesn’t work out in 18 months, we can bin him off. No harm, no foul.
Are there people actually writing him off already or saying he "hasn't shown anything". Christ almighty, seriously what is wrong with people, he has just started his first game, in a new league, new language, new team, new team mates, new manager and new fans.......! Lets give the guy a bit of a chance eh!!
I bet the people saying this are the same who wrote of Lo Celso, and they are probably now frigging themselves about how good he is!
