Ask yourself - what he get ahead of any of the other big 6 goalkeepers? No. Bar United, they’ve all gone and signed to keepers in the past 3-4 seasons. Like everything at our club, he’s stale and past it.

It’s an awkward one to stop, bouncing just before in fairness, but it’s the consistency in mistakes which are costing us points that’s the issue.

Either way, very difficult to replace as he has been a top keeper for such a long time

Yeah, it's inevitable. Better sell now when they still have value, reg. Lloris,Son and Kane. I am 100% sure(in my mind) the last two of them will not renew contracts, after all they have been through with ups and downs the last years. No chance winning things here. And from the rest of them they can all go on a free if it was me to decide.

Typical, Hugo plays great for France against England, both his catching and kicking but today against Villa, bloody awful.

That’s three times we’ve been in a decent position in games where Hugo has done a big mistake with a loss as consequence.

How about Dier, Kane, Son howler on all 3 games.

The point being the game was very evenly balanced...who scores first wins. It wasn't that bad to not hold the shot but for it to bounce out so far is awful. Then he didn't quite commit, he could still have retrieved it.

Ehmmm, you're basically describing almost every goalkeeper ever. They all make mistakes from time to time, and Hugo's are really not worse than most other keepers. The difference is that Lloris is actually capable of stringing several top drawer performances between most of his mistakes, and that's what makes him a great asset for us.

So he made a mistake in his return match after what for him was a very intense WC month, big fucking deal. Funny how today he had yet another amazing performance in which he likely saved us three points, and the mob yet again remains quiet.
