He was good today when the game was more open, getting shots away, linking with Udogie, and of course getting the assist.

I thought he struggled against Liverpool’s deep block in the second half though - in situations like that I’d rather have him through the middle competing for crosses.

I’m worried about this guy.

He just seems to be lacking something.
Yup. He’s a physical 9, who has something to offer, but he’s not that technically accomplished, not that quick, and not that clinical a finisher.

He’s not a bad player - his pass for the goal was nice and he’s good in the air - but I struggle to see that he’ll ever be a great player for us. Honestly, I thought this was pretty obvious when we were trying to buy him.

It’s a shame, because I like the guy. He’s a good squad player, but you’d want more for 60m

He looks really out of place in our side for some reason. Just doesn’t seem to suit the way we play at all.

Good job for the assist but he's still over thinking it. Needs to relax and be more instinctive. Better out wide for sure.

I’m worried about this guy.

He just seems to be lacking something.

He literally has 1 goal and 2 assists in his last two home games, one of which he got subbed in the 80th minute. We’ve won both games in the last minute.

He is clearly going in the right direction and today showed that he can be useful in Ange’s system on the left.

They had 9 men and as a striker he caused them no problems

Was at the game today, sat in the North stand where we were attacking first half.

He had a good half and looked so much better on the left than be does in the middle. After the reds it was a struggle for everyone, crowd was getting restless at the lack of penetration until the goal.

First half though he was good. He is a more willing runner than kulu, he tries much more to get in behind (e.g. our goal), even when the ball didnt come he was making those runs and winding back when the ball didnt come whereas kulu wants the ball to feet/open space.

I'd like to see more crosses for him. It's a real shame Perisic is out but I think Porro and Kulusevski are capable of picking him out far post. Gil could be a good option off the bench too. He did well but not sure it suits him unless he has a player overlap on the left. I still think for the most part he should be competition for centre forward. He's just shown today he can also do a job wide if called for. I wanted him starting there today but when Johnson returns would favour him. Possibly Gil in time too. I thought he offered more than Soloman though.

Really nice assist but sadly he just isn't good enough

As a starting player he is the one that is easiest to upgrade
