You can tell he is really really low on confidence... Nothing is working him, every touch seems dodgy. That will change sooner or later.I'm done with this guy. One of the most unnatural forwards in the world.
He won't change. Every time he misses a chance his head drops. He lets every setback affect him to the point where he starts costing the team. You can tell he is really really low on confidence... Nothing is working him, every touch seems dodgy. That will change sooner or later.
We didn't exactly get him on the cheap. I think we just genuinely thought he was a good choice.I swear one of the reasons for signing him was because we felt it was an opportunity to exploit Everton's financial situation. There's no way we thought he was the best player for either wide forward or replacing Kane.
I'm not sure which scenario I find more terrifying. We didn't exactly get him on the cheap. I think we just genuinely thought he was a good choice.
Low on confidence or just not very good?
Was very good at Everton and for Brazil. Just one of those players who gets a move and doesn't settle/adapt.I'm not sure which scenario I find more terrifying.
Brennan back in the XI after the international break I think
I like his character, I want him to come good but he's looking very expensive at the moment for what he's produced.
I think the international break has come at a good time for him. As bad as the misses were, he was still there for the chances. Just looks so low on confidence.
Fair point and hard to disagree right now, ( he has suffered with injuries and not playing in mitigation) his form for Brazil suggests he just needs a couple of goals for us to get going, but it is hard to see where that comes from. He's been low on confidence for a year. At what point does that become his normal level?
If Everton or someone came along with a 40-50m offer I think we should take it. He's too mentally weak to be relied on at this level.
