He is fucking brilliant. He never stops running, is good on the ball and is one of the best players I've seen in ages at nicking the ball off people.

That’s the thing that has surprised me. After his debut you could see he had the composure, but I didn’t expect him to have such an engine.

Don't think I've ever loved a player so much in such a short space of time. Literally don't want to imagine our team without him.

Hope he’s not injured as we would miss him. Was unbelievably good again today in the second half

Best player tonight again, really hope he is fit for Liverpool at the weekend, dread to think of us without his energy in the middle.

He was holding his hamstrings and was subbed. I shudder the thought of our midfield without him against Liverpool.

Our most important player by a mile

He’s almost single handedly keeping the team ticking despite missing so many important players through injury.

why are we Spurs fans so easily pleased.. he is not a great player and certainly not near the level we have had in recent times like Modric, Dembele and Wanyama.. He is weak on the ball, loses possession and rarely makes an important forward pass..sure he looks silky sometimes but where is the end product? just a frustrating player.. Hojbjerg is the better player.. Bentancur for me lacks vision needs to improve quite a bit !!
haha, this is, well, no offence, but it's a bit wide of the mark to say the least

End product? According to the PL website he has...........

29 games
2 goals (also one in the CL)
6 assists
6 'big' chances created
and his defensive stats aren't too shabby either.

So there's your end product.

And by the way, In those 29 games his tangible or quantifiable 'end product' is around three times that which Dembele supplied in his entire Spurs career. That's if my often failing memory serves me correctly of course :D

I did read somewhere he celebrated Hojbjerg goal and ran on the pitch, so hopefully injury is not bad.

I never knew Bentancur was this good. What a player. He seems to have all the important ingredients to be a monster.

I love how he personally dragged Tottenham from the slumber
