Does anyone know his address I will organise a cab for him to Milan ?

Aurier is anything but dependable defensively - he gives away silly free kicks time after time - dare II mention his glaring error against Arsenal he let the Sheff Utd player wander past him on his inside just a poor defender with no sense of danger at all -

Aurier reminds me of David Willey for England (cricket) last night.

dot, dot, dot, 6, no ball, 4, 1 - starts with control, and discipline, then losses it and is sprayed all over the place.

Aurier - there’s been times were we get a solid 60-70 mins out of him and then he switches off for the rest of the game. Which often results in Sissoko having to cover at full back and leaving us wide open in the middle.

Hopefully we get this deal done early and it'll be good for all involved. Serge has served us very well this season and showed incredible professionalism at the end of the season during personal tragedy. I'd wish him well and Milan is a very cool place to go.

He's a good player but I don't think he'll ever cut out the mistakes so in the long run we'll be better off replacing him. Aarons, Celik and Castagne all look like decent targets and should be gettable for a similar fee to what we hopefully get for Serge.

Maybe it's a bit more complex, but I continue to be surprised at the number of black players who seem keen to move to Serie A despite the incredibly public racial issues that league has with regards to what seems like every black player who kicks a ball there.

They changed their tax rates for sports people so it's a lucrative place to go now hence they were able to attract Ronaldo. Plus unfortunately they are likely to experience it anywhere they go so no place is free of it.

Maybe not, but there are plenty of countries that won't defend it, then be against it whilst simultaneously being a bit racist about their support etc. It seems to be a pretty bad place to go to avoid racism in the sport.

I guess it's the choice of enduring public racism there, or thinly-veiled/sub-conscious racism here in the UK. For Aurier, might be nice to have his countryman Kessie at Milan.

Maybe - he's probably just escaping the criticism he gets here. He's reacted badly to that before at PSG, and France isn't exactly the most PC place at times, so maybe the racism aspect isn't a worry to him. Go to Serie A and jog about a bit.

Not much money in Italy? Seems like both Inter and AC Milan expect players to be sold on the cheap.

Aurier left home at age 13 or something to go play in a foreign country, France, which has tons of racial issues as well. He may be in a really dark place right now and a move could help him re-set. I know a lot of times after a loss, settling into the same routine without that person in it can be even more painful than the original loss was. Honestly its one of the more heartbreaking stories when you think about it, he brings his brother and family over from Cote D'Ivoire on the back of his own success to be living the good life and it ends in tragedy.

One thing I will say about Serge is I never once doubted his commitment or attitude. It is fair to say he switched off and made some defensive mistakes (a bit overblown in my humble opinion) but his head was always up and he never shirked the responsibility of an overlapping run or pulled out of tackles. I still think there is a world class RB in there somewhere, he's only 26/27 so has some more prime years. I wouldn't mind selling but think he's actually underrated on here - be careful what you wish for with Aarons, Castagne, Celik, we may end up missing him more than we think.

I don't think there's been much money in football there since the 90's.

It's mostly down to the Italian fatcats like Pirelli/FIAT to bank roll their respective teams

Tanganga RB? Hopefully we've someone lined up if he's close to leaving.
Think he could well be RB and LB cover and occasional CB cover as he learns and develops next season for sure. He marks Salah and then Mane out the game vs Lpool at LWB in back 5 and marked Ronaldo out the game in pre-season match so kid clearly has massive potential and think he'd be a very capeable squad rotation player as he learns full-back but we do need to bring in a top class full-back ideally one who can cover RB and LB if needed but specialist RB would be great.

Not sure if we sold Aurier and went for say Max Aarons that is much of an upgrade at this time tbh, would be great for the future to have Aarons and Tanganga as full-back options but going into next season with that could be a little weak but then again i'm not 100% exactly sure how good Aarons is right now, mabye he's class and would look even better in a better team than Norwich.

I trust Jose and his plan for the squad so lets see and lets hope Levy can deliver.

Like how his values creeped up 5m from the initial reports. Levy trying to recoup the 3m difference from KWP on Højbjerg
