I'll miss him a bit if be goes. He showed so much heart playing in recent games. I wouldn't be upset if he was our 2nd choice RB, but if we need to free up some £££, it makes sense to let him go.

my personal opinion is Aurier could be top drawer but I think he's content to be at the level he is and thats not going to change. He's probably worth about what we paid for him, maybe a little more. Im not sure it'll be easy to find someone better for 23 million but he's frustrating to watch at times.

He’s made a fair few mistakes it has to be said. However, if one of, if not the greatest full backs of all time (Maldini) sees something in him, I’m slightly concerned.

He's definitely improved post-covid 19. That said I feel like this Spurs team would benefit hugely if we could sign a RB who's main attribute is defending.

Some noise coming from spanish media that we are still interested in Emerson.

That is the one we should be going for imo.

Very weak link at best imo...suggests us PSG and AC Milan have had contact. We were linked a few months ago if I recall correctly. Doesnt sound like anything new.

Here is the article...https://www.diariodesevilla.es/realbetis/Betis-Emerson-Mercado-Fichajes_0_1489651468.amp.html?__twitter_impression=true

Probably thinks he can coach him to be a better defender, get inside his head etc.

I'm no Aurier fan but he does have the raw attributes to be very good.

His biggest weakness is his decision making though, lunging in when not necessary.

Personally, I want a defense to look organised, calm and in sync with one another.

Aurier brings an unpredictable feeling that I just will never like.

We need him out of the club without being harsh or anything, he is a liability, not dependable and needs 15 attempts to make at least 2 decent crosses thats the facts regardless of how harsh. He is a nice chap it seems, big smile , having bants with lads and thats great, but for the talent he does have which is alot potentially, his decision making, his jekl n hyde performances with atleast 1/2 silly and big mistakes per game , we just cant rely on him, he simply isnt good enough of were we as aclub/team need to be. Its a weakness we need to address simpale as that, i wish him well but will be very glad for him to go.

£13 Mill for a RB who has consistently started in the prem the previous season with experience also at PSG is a bit of a joke tbh. They need to seriously up that bid.
Agree, do they have any players we would be interested in?

Not really, Rebic is decent but on loan to them. Zlatan would be interesting but not happening, they have a decent keeper but can't see him fitting in for us atm.

We couldn't buy an average Championship RB for 16m.

We sold KWP for 12m.

Cash, Bogle and Spence would all be less than 16m

Celik, Aarons, Dest and Castagne would all be around 20m at a guess.

I'm confident that whoever Jose decides to replace Aurier with next season will be an upgrade but we will just have to wait and see.
