Aurier as well... Who is our French scout?

We have signed some right duds in the last few years.

Aurier hasn't been a dud at all - he's just a typical spurs right back.

The only time in history a spurs right-back hasn't been criticised is when he's left the club and people criticise the club for selling a player they criticised constantly.

They dont criticize the club for selling. They criticize the club for selling without replacement thereby leaving us short which happens all the time.

Walker was criticised constantly until he left and Trippier became the new critique.

Always replaced but for the scenario

  1. I mean it’s pretty significant if he’s also saying he could be on his way out.
Can someone please clarify what this is all about? I've heard some rumours about Steven bergwjn related to Ndombele but no one seems to want to say anything specific.

I can understand if you are nearing retirement or gonna give fuck all for football like Ade and BAE once were, but for the age of Tanguy to stink that bad in attitude with so many years in front of him? FFS.

Walker was definitely the scapegoat for criticism constantly but - from 2015/16 on he really raised his level and I think him and Rose were the best fullback pairing in the a Premier League. He was a lot less fairly maligned than Trippier.

We won't have any trouble finding interested clubs, the problem will be the fee and how stubborn Levy wants to be.

An argument can be made that he can't expect to recoup what we paid, considering that was an entirely different financial landscape, however, we know there are clubs out there than can afford to pay that amount and we also know Levy won't blink when it comes to getting what he wants.

My concern is that we need to use that money to strengthen and time is of the essence.
I think the biggest problem will be the wages and I can see levy taking a hit to back Jose but we’ll have to pay a proportion of the salary as I can’t see anyone paying him £200k at the moment.
Levy needs to get creative!

So in essence we're stuck with him since no one gonna pay us our money back. We don't exactly have a strong bargaining position when everyone knows we want rid.

Can only hope he'll buckle down and show us what he's capable of.

He was, but people still (rightly, I'll add) exposed his lack of football intelligence and sloppy play.

Aurier isn't as bad as is made out, he's just not got a teflon persona. Same with trippier - looking like a bit of a chav is always going to make people not like him. Soldado is the ultimate proof that personality and attitude can still win over a lot of people - even if you suck at the main job you were bought to do. I know this because I still like him :ROFLMAO:

People believed the nonsense about Vertonghen and Eriksen. Its not going to be hard for people to believe something more likely such as two players having angry words.
Maybe you can clarify what allegedly happened as no one else seems to want to.

I remember at times in the past we were linked with Van De Beek. I can't help but feel things would be much better had we gone for the 'less' fancy and desirable option.

The club need to look at players with substance going forward. I think Bergwijn was a very good pick as he's a grafter as well as talented.

That’s all I know. I didn’t read the article. Could be true, could be false but players have arguments all the time And a lot more likely than infidelity between team mates.
