Dafuq does a little bundle of cute like Bergwjin even contemplate saying very violent words towards someone like Ndombele?

What are violent words? Do they stab the person you're saying them to or do they just rough em up a bit?

The words do the stabbing like in a slasher motion but with phonetics and morphemes.

Cute, you say? I’m sure this picture sparked a column in the S-n about “gang-affiliated Bergwijn”

Tbf if you google the word gang its literal definition is "a set of switches, sockets, or other electrical or mechanical devices grouped together." So I'll give The Sun the benefit of the doubt and assume they meant his shares in Honeywell.

Tbh if N'Dombele is taking the piss then I'm fine with his team mates calling him out for it. Kane and Mason did it years ago with Kaboul, Adebayor et al and we were better for it.

Kane was alive when Adebayor and Kaboul were here?

You would think the scouting team had learned their lesson after the Janssen fiasco.

Janssen - played in effect Sunday league before having one very good season in the Dutch top flight. Came to England and couldn’t last 15 mins without blowing out of his arse.

Tanguy - as per someone else’s post a couple of days ago there’s been concerns over his attitude, work rate and fitness ever since his youth. The guy gains weight by just looking at a burger. He started out at a low level before having the dreaded one good season at Amiens and then playing well for Lyon albeit in a league where everyone outside of PSG are average to poor. As per Janssen he bags himself a big move and low and behold he also can’t cope with the physical demands of the EPL.

We need to be steering clear of the 1-2 season wonders or players who haven’t developed through top flight academies/top flight football as they simply can’t hack the demands of the EPL.
Janssen had a very high work rate, not just in the first 10 minutes. He just wasn't technically good enough. It's pretty much the exact opposite of Tanguy.

Tanguy is not a one season wonder, he has been highly regarded since breaking through, Lyon reached the semi-finals of the CL, they were a better team last season.

Janssen was playing for a significantly worse league and the Eerste division is much much better than sunday league. But he wasn't anything super impressive in that league either. He did impress internationally though, and that got him the move.

The PL does require high fitness, thankfully having good fitness is something that can easily be developed by any willing young player. I don't think fitness is what held either player back. Tanguy seems that he is simply not following instructions. If a team is more willing to accommodate him in the team this wouldn't be such a big issue.

In both cases, we have seen very successful signings coming from both leagues, and even coming after a few good seasons. We should continue to look for value in both of these leagues. Maybe we need to consider the targets a little more but to give up entirely would move us backwards, for sure. Particularly as we are not at a point where we can just buy any premade superstar.
