FFS, Jose had one of the biggest budgets in world football at United. Last summer was them first one in years that Poch has not had to balance the books in net spend. It’s like comparing night and day.
No but it’s was an unbelievable day which I won’t forgetI'll ask you a similar question then....
Juande Ramos poster up on your wall?
Any manager who, like Jose, gets us into the EL would be the least successful manager we’ve had for many seasons.I did not compare the managers. It was about that the trophies Jose won at Utd were just crap trophies (unlike the real trophies we are consistently in for). Whatever manager who manages to win the EL and the FA cup for example, would automatically be the most successful manager we've had in long while.
irony is people see winning a second tier competition as triumphant and glorious but doing well in a top tier competiton as being empty and hollow.
As I’ve repeated - playing a single game in the EL should be seen as a failure for a club of our ambition. One game = failure.
And we are likely to have to play lots next season and that will be because we have failed this season.

It’s better to finish 4th or 5th and win the Europa and/or a domestic trophy than it is to finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th, always be 10-20 pts behind the leader and not win anything. Winners are better than nearly men, winners keep their best players, nearly men lose their best players as they want to win things.
I will speak out somewhat in support of Pochettino for a second because I believe he has deserved that very much indeed.
When we are looking to the past and distributing proportions of blame for where we are today, if we at all should do that, I find that the pendulum has swung entirely towards Pochettino. This is very unwise. It is clear as day to me that Levy/ENIC has played their part and disappointed yet again. In more plain speaking terms, they've fucked up. I will back Pochettino very much on the question of where it all started.
However, we are where we are, and in light of where we are I do believe Pochettino must leave. He must take full responsibility, But I do believe he must only assume a piece of the blame.

I am gonna ride out with Poch. He has earned a season to rebuild

Yes but we're not fucking Madrid, are we? ?His Madrid side weren't dire to watch. Scored a lot of goals
I wouldn't.So just like now then, but with some trophies?
I’d take that for now
Just thought I'd have a look online at a few polls and the majority of fans want posh to keep his job. The Fighting Cock on Twitter from 1,200 people is 75% keep to 25% sack. On the Evening Standard its 66% keep to 34% sack. Thats only 2 polls but he seems to still have the backing of most of the fans.
I don't know what to say really about that.
What, you never heard of confirmation bias? ?Err, I do love how some interpret my posts to mean whatever is floating around in their heads already.
