With the Asia tour being disrupted by rain and Roma withdrawal, the Barcelona match has now become an important part of pre season. All the moans and groans about how close it was to the Brentford match now a distant memory, who do we credit for arranging the match?

Most te@ms have played at least 3 warm up games by now. We have played West Ham and a bunch of sailors. Hoping for a good performance tomorrow. With only Barca left we could be seriously undercooked for Brentford..

And a behind closed doors match against League 1 opposition. So technically 3 as well. It's surprising how many people keep ignoring this.

and by the way, it's Barca and Shakhtar left

I genuinely think the lack of games may actuslly work in our favour. The players get more time to recover from last season, as well as working on the style of play Ange wants us to play with.

This cant be understated how important this time is currently. We have had a few years of defense first football, so the more time Ange has to instill offense first football will take some time. So ideally the more time he spends with them on the training ground the better it will be, as it helps to understand his way of playing better and implement it effectively.

I for one think we will blow Brentford away as they won't expect this new Spurs style that Ange is known for.

People keep ignoring the behind closed doors friendly because it was basically the youth team, Lloris and Scarlett. An overwhelming majority of people involved in that game won’t feature for us this season.

Anyone know if it's being shown live in Oz? I thought Paramount+ was due to show it but there is no mention on their site.
Yeah I thought so too. The previous games were hard to find though, try in the sport section in a collection called winter festival of football or something like that.

Pretty annoyed with Paramount+ as I'm absolutely certain they advertised it last week. Just forked out another 35 quid so I can watch it on Spursplay.
