Not just against us. He's been suberb all season. The keeper who plays a worldie vs us palms one into his net.
Newcastle deserve that
Definitely agree about their attack. Jota and Doherty were both huge losses and I think that's been overlooked in a lot of quarters due to the amount of money they spent, but as you say they spend...weirdly.To give credit to newcastle, while they do look directionless they actually can defend fairly effectively. Thing is, I think Wolves won't be up to much this season, reckon they will finish bottom half. Had a bizarre transfer window and I think it'll hurt them.
Wolves struggle a lot to attack. They've scored 5 goals this season, Newcastle have more on 7. This is a lower mid table clash as far as I'm concerned. If I were a betting man, I'd put my money on Newcastle today. Though it could go either way.
Agree but Wolves didn't...Absolutely ridiculous tactics from Newcastle, I don't understand their game this season.
Wolves look set to win, but I want to point out that wolves have had more or less the same shots on target as newcastle. And have scored less too. There current position more reflects the fact that they've played the bottom two, then anything more than that really. They still have two or three top top players, but I reckon they won't get close to matching their past seasons. and there are a lot of teams this season who look like they might challenge for 7th or even top 6.Definitely agree about their attack. That young striker they signed for 35 million hasn't played a second, Podence is skillful but looks a shadow of Jota, while Semedo is far more of a typical fullback/winger than the unique wingback that is Doherty who linked up so well with Jiminez. It's just hard to see where the creativity comes from and I can't see anything changing soon.
I do, however, think they have a good manager and a great defence, so I think they'll still finish top half and would 100% favour them over Newcastle today given Newcastle have had like 10 shots all season or something stupid.
Apparently he’s got a history of dislocating one of his shoulders and it’s an effort to stop it happening againWhy is traore all oiled up like a body builder? Can't be sweat as he's like it when he comes on as a sub... looks like he covers his arms in baby oil... harder for defenders to grab him?!
He's not playing against us thoughDarlow should be saving that. Good hit but well within the keeper’s reach.
Agree with all of that. Good post.Definitely agree about their attack. Jota and Doherty were both huge losses and I think that's been overlooked in a lot of quarters due to the amount of money they spent, but as you say they spend...weirdly.
