Took too long to give Conte the elbow, then compounded it by putting Stellini in charge.
Plus many other mess ups too numerable to mention. Even if we had somehow dragged ourselves into fourth we still would have squandered the opportunity in the CL thanks to lack of investment, vision etc.

Pretty clear Kane won't have many options.

Scratch both Chelsea and Arsenal off
City are pretty much not needing.
Liverpool doubtful.

If United looked more capable I'd say he may wish to go there but he's probably not sold and may think it's not much better right now.

Think he'll see how we do in the summer and next season.

If we'd beaten Utd and Liverpool we'd be 4th right now - let alone all those points we dropped in ridiculous fashion against Bournemouth, Southampton, Leicester, Wolves and Everton in the last couple of months. They both have better squads than us but this season's failures very much feel like our own doing

I genuinely think it's a lot deeper and more complex than that. The man would arguably still be here if it weren't for his rant.

But I do agree with the sentiment, things were land sliding and it became compounded to another level when he got ill.

We beat those lower level teams and the Liverpool + United games mean nothing. That's where we fuck up IMO. You simply have to win those games.

Personally I don’t think are record against the “lower” teams has been particularly bad. Our record against the teams directly above us on the other hand….1 win and a draw from 8 games. 4 points from a possible 24, not to mention that’s points going directly to rivals

I can’t see Everton beating Brighton tonight but it would be nice.

Forest v Southampton - no idea at all
