You do realise we have a new manager?Yeah ,we have been saying this for the past few years and its still a complete mystery as to exactly what we are trying to build.

That was as poor a performance as any under AVB or Sherwood. Only a single shot on goal in 90 minutes is just not good enough. There was a lack of pace and urgency, little invention and no leadership. I would also have hoped that, after 3 months in charge, Pochettino would have addressed our frailties against set pieces. Even with all 10 outfield players back against 7 attackers, we still conspired to leave Morrison unmarked.
Nor should we be surprised by the performance. Whilst most of our rivals strengthened their teams during the transfer window, we were content to add a few fringe players. Both Schneiderlin and Mussachio would have strengthened the team and provided much needed leadership on the pitch. Instead we went for the cheaper options in Fazio and Stambouli. IMO I doubt if either will ever become a Premiership regular. We also failed to bring in another striker. If reports are to be believed, Bony was available at a reasonable price.
Lloris 6 - O.k. but distribution poor
Dier 5 - Not a full-back. We badly miss Walker.
Kaboul 5 - Must be a nightmare partnering Chiriches
Chiriches 1 - Bizarre decision to start Chiriches instead of Vertonghen. Chiriches can't defend.
Rose 6.5 - Easily our best defender
Capoue 6 - O.k.
Dembele 5 - Ineffective
Chadli 6 - The only player to make intelligent runs
Eriksen 6 - The only player to create anything. Poor delivery from set pieces.
Lamela 5 - O.k. for the first twenty minutes but anonymous thereafter. Lost Morrison for the goal but shouldn't have been the marker.
Adebayor 2 - We have the AVB Adebayor back! Glaring miss in the first half and poor movement throughout.
Soldado 4 - Meh
Paulinho 3 - Meh

The one bright spot is that we will be playing far fewer games on a Sunday next season.
Lloris couldn't do anything about the goal, made two very good save, dealt with most else pretty comfortably.
Dier was pretty decent defensively apart from getting skinned once, and played some nice balls forward.
Kaboul looked shaky and was so sloppy with his passing.
Chiriches had one of the worst games I've seen from any centre back ever. Made Ricardo Rocha's debut look like a dream start. Today he was beaten every time, weak, useless on the ball, all in all a liability.
Rose did well. He carried the ball forward, he wasn't particularly beaten at any point and he busted a gut.
Capoue had a good first half with some good passing and solid defending, but once Dembele came off and he was alone in midfield, his performance dropped dramatically.
Dembele was solid defensively barring one moment where he tried too much too deep, he was very energetic and he drove us forward as much as he could, playing some very clever passes. Unless he was knackered or injured I must question the decision to sub him.
Lamela fought constantly, showed some great skill at times and constantly tried to drag us forward, even of he did overcook it a few times. If the other three attackers showed even 75% of his endeavour and drive then this thread would have a very different feel.
Eriksen over or underhit absolutely everything, flitted in and out of the game and was bullied quite easily.
Chadli was pretty much anonymous. I expect far more from a man of his physical and technical ability.
Adebayor looked like a worse version of Pavlyuchenko today. For a guy so blessed physically and technically, he does so very little. No effort, no movement, as cons two everything. He was put in by good balls on a few occasions today and just never makes it when slower players would have, while offering no link up play and missing a sitter of a header. 1 goal in 5? Time to drop him.
Soldado didn't do much but he at least offered some link up and, with his one half chance, registered our only shot on target.
Paulinho came on and made us infinitely weaker. Everything he did was bad.
Lennon was energetic and showed for the ball, but his two attempted crosses were both woeful.
Pochettino made some curious choices today. Starting an off form Adebayor again? Odd. Playing Chiriches ahead of Vertonghen? Lunacy. Subbing Dembele at 0-0 and this surrendering the midfield completely? Unforgivable.
Need to improve quickly,

The latter 2Who you talking about Dier, Davies,Fazio and Strambouli?

I really don't understand comments like this. We've lost one match today. We played badly. It happens to every single team on earth. Why make such a grandiose statement that pours scorn on our whole direction as a club?
Have you been on holidays for the past month or so?
We have had a number of poor performances this season already.
Have you been on holiday? Did you miss the performances against Sunderland? QPR? in the Europa league?
Are you willing to give our new manager longer than 5 league games before you write off the direction he's taking the club?
My problem is not with the manager but the person who is scouting and buying the sub standard players that we currently find clogging up our squad.
These players have been shit under 3 managers now.
I suppose everyone realises that soon we will have a completely different back line?
