Yup. If offered, he couldn't really turn the opportunity down.

His case with HMRC may prevent them from offering him the position, from a Spurs perspective I hope so.

Could be his last chance to manage england so he'd be silly to turn it down if offered it. But if it is to happen i hope it's soon as it could mess up our pre season prep and possible transfers 

If we could get somebody in to continue our development I would be happy for him to do it, but all I care about is spurs so whatever is best for us is best for me!

To be honest, I think that we are now in a very different position and it may well be that we need somebody who has experience of working in the cl and at the top of the league. I'm just concerned that it will affect the players and our preparations for next season!

It was an honest answer from Harry.

Of course he wouldn't turn down the England job, if it were offered to him.

And I think that as the English manager most qualified for the job, it may well be offered to him despite his ongoing court case.

I remember an occasion when Harry was a pundit in the studio discussing another inept performance from England, probably prior to Capello.

He absolutely launched in to one and was scathing about the set up and it was then that I thought he would be my next choice as England Manager.

I think that you can pretty much put any Manager in charge of a National team, regardless of domestic status and honurs won etc. It is all about man-management as they would get given the best English players of the day.

There is no-one better than Harry for gee-ing up a player and making him as tall as as a tree, chest bursting, to goa and do his best on the park.

Harry is my choice to take this sorry inept bunch of overpaid elitists and sort them in to shape.

I think we will be ok.

1. I can't see them sacking Capello, not at this stage anyway.

2. The FA don't make decisions purely on football and I would be surprised if they even offered it to him.

He had just said that the next manager should be English so he couldn't really say he didn't want it however his list included Hodgson and Allerdice and I think he believes it is more likely to be Roy Hodgson as he ticks all the boxes with no apparent skeletons in the cupboard.

I suspect this is correct.

As a Spurs fan I really don't want to see him go - partially for his innate abilities, and partially 'cos this club needs stability now more than ever.

As a human being I can have no qualms with him stating publicly that the second he is offered the managers job for his national team he will be off.

After the shambles of the England performances no thank you as far as Capello goes. How typical is this, we have one decent season, England shit in the nest and we lose our Manager. What a clusterf**k for THFC.

Fuck me i hope Capello wouldn't be interested in us, he'd be Ramos all over again.

Harry is right to take the England job if offered, and given that he has set up a great team of assistants and coaches at Spurs to manage training regime, i think he could easily do both jobs at the same time, at least in the short term.
