I can't understand why on Earth he would train for Valencia today.

I wouldn't mind that tbh, train today, keep fitness up and say goodbye to team-mates, then later tonight, fly to london for medical 2mo

It would be easy and convenient to feign injury but he's being professional.

Soldado is expected to arrive in London tomorrow and undergo his standard medical before joining the team when they return from their pre-season summer tour of Asia, while Valencia will likely try to sign rumoured targets, Roma’s Pablo Osvaldo, Espanyol’s Sergio Garcia or a host of other names.

Hopefully there's a 'Soldado Watch' with pics on Tweeter later today then, exciting.

He's training because he is their player. Until otherwise as a professional you'd expect nothing else. You want that from a player.

Yep. Modric had all but checked out/on strike/throwing a hissy/ whatever and even he came in and trained last summer, along with a BAE who wasn't happy with the heat if my memory is correct.

He needed a fining and given a verbal bollocking to get him to do it but it still happened. It didn't in any way mean his move to RM was offski.

Well true enough I guess, he might simply have gone in for a massage and a bit of running etc.

I very much doubt it would be full training, more likely just fitness training and this is good for us so that when he does finally arrive he will have some fitness under his belt and won't be starting from scratch.

Remember he only returned to training at the end of this week so he is already a couple of weeks behind the other players
