No fucking way would we pay 28 million euros lol, surely?

It sounds most Un-Levylike doesn't it, especially for a 28 year old, and to seemingly let Baldini go and secure the negotiations. Unless he has a clear fee and wage limit that he has indicated to Franco is the most we will pay.

I'm almost beyond caring what the price is for a striker who is CL quality.

We've needed this caliber striker since Berbatov fucked off.

22-24m would be a very reasonable price.

We need to stop looking at what we've done transfer wise in the past. If this comes off, then times are a changing people. And changing for the better.
