Personally I think the best possible outcomes from a Rose transfer is:

1) We sell Muppet-Rose for 70m and then buy Sessegnon

OR

2) 50m and Shaw.

I would prefer number one because I believe Davies is a great player and Sessegnon would be perfect for a manager like Poch.

Shaw isn't the 30m player he was in regards to market value....Levy will cream a rival at this point in the season...but if Shaw was to come to us after being one of the best LB's in the league at 19 under Poch...I have 100% confidence and absolutely no doubt that Poch would make him the player he was becoming. No doubt.
Like your thinking, how about Rose 50m + Shaw and 20m for Sessegnon now and leave him at Fulham for the season. This transfer stuff looks pretty easy!

I don't get all this talk that we have to sell Rose now. Do you not understand what bad precedent that sets? Every time a player gets a bit twitchy they know all they have to do is mouth off in the paper and they'll get a move. That's not something to encourage

Or a pay rise! What price discontent and potentially disruption within the dressing room. This situation is a cluster f### whichever way you look at it.

And also there is no point having all this money in the bank if we can't spend it because the players we want are either too pricey for us or want higher wages than we are prepared to pay.

We also will not be able to buy anyone better than Danny Rose.

The smart thing to do is go all out for Sessegnon, make him and Fulham an offer they can't refuse either now or in Jan. Once he's here( or another potential replacement) then if Danny is still acting like a prick we can sell him for big money. But not now, only then.

Rose and Aurier (if we get him) will make us devastating. Better than last season!
