See, you're now posting as if you know the entire ins and outs of the deal, which of course is impossible, as you told us earlier.

Am I posting as if I'm certain? I've pointed out on several occasions that these things are indication, not confirmation.

What I'm doing here is applying context to think about it, and from there deducing a theory. Think about what I'm saying. If he is that talented, and fully healthy, why didn't anyone else snap him up at that price?

I get you're upset, really I do. I love this player on a personal level as well. But why people are choosing to vent towards the club instead of sitting back and thinking of the possibilities as to why we chose to sell this player for so cheap I do not get. Is unnecessary emotion taken before use of logic.

I get that, but my anger at the sale ahead of the aforementioned others still applies as my biggest gripe.

Posted this in the ITK thread but should probably have gone in here..

I cannot endorse the selling of Sandro. I'm not so het up about things other people seem to be angry about, but I fully believe Sandro would've won Poch over and ended up being invaluable as this season progressed, as long as he found fitness.

It was worth the chance. Well worth the chance, to play it out and see.

Disgusted to see him in QPR colours on twitter.

And I think that's understandable, as I too would have preferred to have sold a few others first, including from central midfield. I just think it's understandable from the club's standpoint as well.

Not condoning the sale, I'm pretty disappointed too, but perhaps the bit in bold is exactly why. I just really hope it's because he's no longer going to be a fully fit player. Having said that, he's passed a medical...

Again, a medical cannot test anything that would indicate long term fitness.

Other than that, I completely agree with your post.

You taking the piss?

I'm being serious. I think I'll take a break from watching matches, etc...

I haven't been a fan for long, I watched Spurs for the first time in the CL match against Inter. I LOVED that match ( even though it was a loss) and loved every player from Gomez to Crouch. everyone is gone now and I don't feel good about it.

I think the international break is coming at a good time for you then. Time for us all to sit back, relax, appreciate the warm weather, and we'll likely all be hungry to see our boys in lillywhite when they come back to us in two weeks.

Exactly. I don't like this schtick where some people are insinuating he is basically a cripple that we were lucky to be rid of. QPR paid £10m for him or whatever it is. That is still huge chunk of money. He passed his medical. The lower price is because of injury history imo. All this means is that there is the possibility of a higher potential risk of him getting an injury, by merely going on his past. It does not mean that Sandro is a physical wreck that needs a wheelchair to get around the pitch. Ekotto fails medicals apparently. Players fail medicals when there is lasting damage that has diminished them on a permanent basis. Ledley King would've failed a medical ( the team might have bought him anyway as they'd obviously know what they were getting into if they'd have come in for him ). QPR are not going to chuck money at a player with lasting chronic/fucked knees, imo.

All Sandro needed was time and a little luck.

I wish Sandro all the best. It might be worth bearing in mind though that the ACL wasn't his first knee injury. I'm pretty sure he had two other knee injuries before the ACL.

Fingers crossed he doesn't suffer anymore knee trouble.

Maybe you should take a break then.

Nothing wrong with adoring certain players, but its about loving the Club and what it stands for.

Players come and go = the Club, and the fans, are the one true constant.

A "cripple?" No. Likely incapable of playing 90 minutes for around 25-30 games this season, especially in how rigorous Poch's system is supposed to be once fully operational? I think so.
