We can push it all we want, that was atrocious defending from both Dier and Davies. Just left Mousset free in the six-yard box. Absolutely abysmal.

Mourinho is dog shit. There can’t be any excuses anymore. We have no coherency, no fluidity and no idea. Apart from a purple patch when he first arrived, we’ve looked utterly clueless. He’s got one of the best centre forwards on the planet and he can’t figure out how to play to his strengths. And we can’t defend either. 12 million a year for this shit? Levy really has fucked himself over

Congrats on ‘defending of the year’. Dominating the game and it took one chance for Sheff Utd to score

Fuck the summer transfer kitty - give JM a payoff and let someone with more desire do the job with what we have. Totally pointless appointment in all honesty and zero progression under him.

I swear we say this almost every year

No excuses for Mourinho tonight, he has all the players and this really isn’t good enough.

Agree Moura shouldn’t really be starting as he just isn’t intelligent enough, super sub only.

Just going back to the VAR. A lot of pundits are saying that as technically he handled the ball then, by the letter of the law, it was correct to rule out the goal. But how should the advantage rule work here? Surely we should be given an advantage in some way? I’m trying to think of a comparable situation but not sure I can. If a striker were pushed, which caused them to then accidentally trip a defender who knocked the ball back into the striker’s path, who then scored, surely the goal wouldn’t be ruled out for the accidental trip? Maybe that’s not a comparable situation? I feel very hard done by (even though we’ve been utterly crap in the second half).
