Sky coverage - fixture changes

So Sky have decided to show us 5 times throughout April (and start of May), the last 3 of those games being played on 3 consecutive Mondays wtf.

Sat 2 Apr Liverpool v Spurs 5:30pm
Sun 10 Apr Spurs v Man Utd 4pm
Mon 18 Apr Stoke v Spurs 8pm
Mon 25 Apr Spurs v WBA 8pm
Mon 2 May Chelsea v Spurs 8pm

Talk about making us play catch-up....fuckers. Of course can look at it the other way and we'll have a better rest, think 3 in a row is a bit much though.

They should change the West Brom game if we make it through but in essence, it's not much different to playing on a Saturday then Tuesday, though it's an 8pm kick off and that will have an affect. I can't see them moving it though.

Saying all that, if people are still having this argument in a month's time, it'll mean we're in the Europa semis. Good times.

I'm just delighted that Sky have woken up to the fact that we're in the title race and are showing a good few of our games instead of continually showing the dippers and utd by default.

Can we really complain about being handed Monday night matches after the EL matches we obviously are going to be part of? If anything, Sky wants us to win the PL & the EL.

I'm not sure they are particularly good changes -Liverpool is no real diffreence and the games following Europa will always be moved to Sunday at least. The main difference is 7 days between Stoke and WBA. Setting asisde the annoyance of a Monday night ,for many of us hoping to go the game, if we are( and it is a big if) still in the Europa Leagure, this will, I think, cause uproar making us play 3 days before a Semi Final( especially away to Chelsea) but they won't change it.

HAHA I knew it, BT pick the big Swansea v Liverpool game for April 30, just a few wins for swansea (hopefully not starting on sunday) and this fixture will be a complete dead rubber

WBA isn't a bank holiday, the bank holiday is 25th March

Best to play first. Lots more pressure psychologically playing catch up. I don't think moving to the Monday nights is a good thing but we will see.

I wonder what our MNF record is like. I don't think it's too bad. We beat Villa on a Monday night earlier this season I think.

I doubt that's much of an indicator. A well aimed hurtful word could get 3 points against that lot.
