Never post. Last post was about huddlestone! Got to say through the sherwood times and AVB there was usually some positives to take from a loss. Maybe the emergence of a youngster i.e. Mason or Bentaleb or the form of an established player ala Bale but today's performance has got to go down as one of the most abject, listless, passionless and incompetent displays I have ever had the mispleasure of witnessing.

Defence were rubbish. Keep vertonghen at the club but he should not be first team. Aurier awful. Eriksens passing was woeful, generally inaccurate and devoid of any craft or urgency. God knows how he thinks he will get a transfer to a big club. Why do 90‰ of our passes have no purpose? Just pointless, 3 yard sideways dross. Why do we have so many touches? Moura. Seems like a nice guy but he plays like a kid in a playground, running around aimlessly, dribbling with his head down. Not sure what his position is. Alderweireld was poor and his distribution was unusually wayward. Don't understand how supposedly professional players can screw up 3 yard passes.

I would seriously consider selling 5-6 players in todays first team. Don't care how much for to be honest. Just get Eriksen, Aurier et al out of the club. Mourinho has a big job on his hands. I only hope enic and levy give him the funds to make the sweeping changes this team and squad desperately need.

Makes you wonder what they are doing in training.

I think it’s clear the tipping point with Levy sacking Poch was concern for missing out on the CL and the board believed bringing Jose in would preserve that status with the current squad. Time has shown that the squad is not good enough and nobody can say we deserve top 4.

There needs to be some serious surgery on the squad, which will be expensive. I anticipate this year we will miss out on CL regardless of what (if anything) we do in January but if we don’t properly address the squad in the summer it could be years without CL football again if Poch goes to Man U, Arsenal get themselves together, Leicester, even Wolves and Everton with their investment and new manager. I don’t think that is risk Levy and ENIC can afford to take with the commercial implications for the club and stadium.

Poch turned our average squad of players into a formidable team by implementing a fitness and a system that added up to more than the sum of it's parts.

We as supporters maybe did'nt understand or appreciate the bridges Poch had built for this squad and success.

Levy certainly never or chose to ignore.

Now we are really seeing the true level of the squad.

Nah, I really don't agree with that. See plenty of Villa's games this season and he really is a class player.

1. I’m pretty sure we all saw exactly what Poch had brought to the squad since it has been talked about endlessly for five years and ever since he left.

2. We all also saw how bad we’ve been for over a year now and how Poch couldn’t keep the standards up - hence him wanting a refresh.

Go back 4, 5 years and we were on the cusp of something big. We all on this site knew what was needed, but we missed the boat. What a shame!!

That said, and was has transpired over the past 12/18 months is there for us all to see. No need to flog that one again.

Jose knows what's wrong and what's needed. In fact, I'm sure he had a good idea before he started. I just don't think he would have taken the job, if there wasn't any funds available in January. No matter what the amount is.

The players have been embarrsing to say the least. He needs to wield an axe of some sort quickly. Top 4 is going to be very hard, simply because we are not capable of stringing a number of positive results together, especially when others around us drop points. Our achilles heel to be honest.

I said it before and I'll say it again. ENIC should sell before their valuation of the club diminishes. I'll certainly take anyone's money, who has the ambition to win shit

If we had sold Eriksen at the time they sold Coutinho, and got similar sort of money, had then invested ( and spent more ) that money in some great signings and had a manager of the level of Klopp in charge, perhaps we would have been in a similar position to them right now.

What are we? Stop following the club because we aren’t title challengers anymore? Sure it’s a pile of wank right now and we’ve seemingly completely fucked it up, but that’s just typical Tottenham. It’s nothing new. If anything we’ve started to fuck it up even more spectacularly than before!
