If we play the Conte way and sit back then I can see Southampton's confidence building and them scoring the first goal and our confidence starting to drop. They could then hold on and win 1-0. If we go for them from the off score early then I can see a 3 or 4-0 win but we very rarely do this so I'm not that confident. I certainly don't expect Conte to change tactics or players. To be honest I don't really see us winning this one as their need will be stronger than ours, although it shouldn't be and I haven't seen any real fight in this team much this season. I would love to see a game with slick quick moving football from us with spot on passing that doesn't fall apart after a couple of passes. We need to get a grip from the start, do that and we win comfortably.

We haven't sat back in our last 2 league games. Hope that will continue

0-0 until the 93rd minute when we give away a silly free kick on the edge of the box. Up steps James Ward-Prowse and we lose 1-0

I think this will be a comfortable win. Conte is back, we've had a week to prepare and SCBC are pretty shit.

I understand the "we've been hurt before" stuff but fucking hell!

I suspect it will be a solid if unspectacular win for us, 2-0. Kane has an incredible record against Southampton and Sons would be considered highly too if it wasn’t over shadowed by Kanes.

Southampton seem to be better away from home at the moment where they can sit back and try to soak up the pressure and then hit on the counter, however after losing to Brentford they will need to come at us today and I fancy we will pick them off.

This is our most winnable away game left, so not taking three points here would sound alarm bells. They have had to play twice since we last did also and their crowd are not the most supportive currently.

I predict we score early and strangle the life out of the game adding a second late on when they are pushing.

I won't accept anything less than winning by a 2 goal margin.

It's no reasonable, it's not unfeasible.

Football is about punishment. We've suffered too much. It's time we became the schoolmaster.
I'd obviously prefer it to be 2-0 or more, but given the inconsistency we've shown over recent months for me now it's just about digging out 3 points and not slipping up in weeks where Newcastle and/or Liverpool or Brighton get points. So for that reason it's 3 points for me however we get them, to put the ball back in Newcastle's court.
