Just watched extended highlights on Setanta!!

Armstrong 2 Teddy & Campbell with the goals!

We weren't always losing to them!

This was the first match that I ever went to! January 1st I think?! Schemichel got injured in the warm-up and Pilkington played in goal; he was SHITE! Haha!

I thought Schemicel started, was immobile due to injury, scored a couple then another goalie came on who like said you was shocking.
Good game!

I thought I remembered Pilkington starting because Schmeichel was injured. I was only ten at this time and didn't have Sky but I can still remember listening to it on 5 Live and knowing it was one of THOSE games you never forget. Similarly one from around the same time (give or take a year, I guess) where we beat Newcastle 4-2 on a Saturday afternoon (remember those?), Fox and Sheringham with two each.

Chrissy Armstrong, signed instead of Bergkamp... *sigh* Still, cracking game that. Remember it well.

I was at that Newcastle game, I remember thinking "they're LW's a bit special. Wonder if we could sign him...?" Thought Teddy got a hat-trick that game?

I was there too, right next to where Schemichel got injured prior to the match -or he may have ambled over, i forget.

Very much a case of SETUP - PUNCHLINE - AWKWARD! AWKWARD!

Great game! Remember watching it on Sky with my first ever New Years hangover, after me and my cousin half inched a bottle of my dads Remy Martin the night before.... I think people are very harsh on Armstrong, he wasn't the greatest striker in the world but he was far better than a lot of our other options at the time and I'm pretty sure his goals to games ratio was about one in three?

Watched it in the Nightingale pub on the Wood Green bit of Green Lanes and came away thinking that Darren Caskey could be the creative genius in our midfield for years to come. How wrong I was.

The Nightingale was the one next to the Police Station, right? got knocked down an turned into flats? Remember it being quite 'Lively' in there.

This was the 2nd game I ever went to, it was bloody freezing if I remember correctly. Didn't William Prunier have a complete shocker in that game?
