Who cares about those clauses. We've played the profit game for years and missed out on numerous targets. If one of our players happens to make less money in the future (but still bring a profit) so be it. 27.5 is good business.

The buy-back is a sllly one....
No it's not. In Poland we have a saying : the wolf is full and the sheep untouched.

We get a player plus profit and they get an affordable option SHOULD THEY CHOOSE IT.

Are you referring to Aesop's story about 'The wolf in sheep's clothing'? Anyways, I get why Manchester United declined. Imagine Reguillion having a fantastic season and then Real Madrid decide to buy him back. Good LB/RB don't grow on trees nowadays imo
José Gaya would be for the dream signing

Who’s our next manager?

He must be with us for at least a minimum period and there must be a profit at the end. It’s Levy.

The clauses aren't ideal, so hats off to Levy for agreeing to them. We get a ready to go attacking LB for NOW, while Cirkin and maybe Sess get lots of gametime elsewhere, preparing them to become quality attacking LB's in the future. If clauses are activated then we've had a top player for 2 seasons (he'd have to have played well for Real to want him back),we've made a profit & we've prepared Cirkin/Sess to take over his role. Win/Win/Win

Has this ever happened before that Levy could actually agree to deals/clauses set out from the seller club? So hard to believe United has this profit-making in mind for him while we went ahead with it.

This is a no brainer for me..

Spurs buy a quality Left back to improve the team. If he does well and Real want him back we sell at a profit that we can reinvest. I don't see any reason why he wouldnt be a good deal

He could refuse to go back?

It's like getting the best of both worlds. It's a folk saying. You get the reward (a fed wolf) but without bearing the cost (an untouched sheep). So both Real and Spurs are happy

If a wolf is fed then someone somewhere must be unhappy...lol
