It's a fair point, if he is a dealer then he's consciously taken up a risky profession.

Regarding the article, it's certainly more likely that he was targetted for something related to his murkey goings on than it is a group of Spurs fans were walking along and all simultaneously thought, "wow that's John Terry's instantly recognisable father, thank Ghodd I have this scarf to wrap around my face to avoid identification, lets be having him".

Something tells me the reluctance to give a statement is probably due to the fact that Terry Snr knows the attacker.
