Well we will cruise / stutter into the knockouts in second gear but to go further our squad must be deeper and better.
How well we do next season will depend hugely on decisions made and business done in the next 6 weeks before the PL begins.
we have a top six - eight squad nothing more in my opinion. I do not think we are good enough to win the EL. The games past the quarters are hard, High quality games against really good opposition and I cannot see us in our current form, getting past theQF or SFs.

Only if Arsenal lose today (Us into group stages, wolves into Qualifiers) and Wolves don't win Europa league.

Wolves have mandatory qualifiers to play right? Ours are not determined until the FA Cup final is over.

I hope Wolves don't make it past the qualifiers. ?

Well looks we will have to rotate heavily when the season begins, as we'll have 3 1 legged qualifying rounds to overcome every midweek.

No excuses though. If the squad and the management had performed adequately, we wouldn't be in that position. Frankly many of them 100% deserve a Thursday night special in sweltering heat on the Kazakhstan-China border rather than a cozy evening at home. And I expect them to get on with it and perform just as well against whoever we'll then have on the Sunday as they would be expected to otherwise.

So when do the qualifiers begin?
Thursday 17th - it's the first three midweeks of the season, while everybody else in the league gets a rest. We may well also have a LC tie in one of those midweeks.

A striker signing is a must to give Kane a rest

Really bugging me that this Europa has so many qualifying rounds, making things so complicated.

I still think this will all be moot. I cant see any way there is European competition next season. Too many variables to accommodate for and Europe seems to be having spikes again already and its not even flu season yet. At least domestic competition in Europe can be more of a bubble like atmosphere like we had for the restart. Now we're talking about adding in flying across Europe and entering other countries? Nah. UEFA needs to just get with it and focus their energy on finding a suitable destination to hold the Euros next summer.

Late transfer business for sure now. Levy won't want to spend much until we're in the group stage and our Europa League money is secured.

Slightly (hopefully) disagree.

If we don’t qualify we are in for an awful season. These are double second rate teams we will be playing
