We absolutely have to be beating these lot. They are woeful. If we sit off and let them have the ball, watch them grow into the game and start playing.

The last few encounters with Everton have been absolutely piss poor, from both sides, wouldn't be surprised if this one ended 0-0.

I also can't remember the last time we went behind in a game and turned it around, maybe Liverpool at home when we got a draw.

I'd think about dropping Kulu deeper into midfield for this. I think we need numbers in CM but the problem is we'd have to play Winks with our current options.

I was talking about this is the youth thread but the problem is he hasn't played that deep for ages. Plays more in the attacking positions.

If we're going down that route then I would play White. Can't be worse imo

Crazy how a couple of weeks can really change the mood. After the City game on gameday against Burnley I couldn't think of anything other than kick off. Today, I'm going later and I'm totally despondent, completely apathetic to going.

The games against Burnley & Boro were real killers. I know there was the Leeds game in between but really that was par for the course, they're possibly the second worst team in the league with all their injuries. I really thought we were going to kick on after City.

I'm pretty confident we'll win tonight though, just need something to get me more excited for the game.

10 weeks ago yesterday, though we have only played 2 league games at home in that time.

I know he is short of options and I do not blame him for not trusting untested 17 year olds in centre mid, but if Conte plays Winks after that last performance it really does send out a bad message. It doesn't matter how poorly you play, there are no repercussions - we don't have options and you know that, so you will always be in the mix to start. Just shit really.
