We are looking at a third home defeat in a row after something like 8 wins on the bounce. The fans have to take some responsibility for that if they are booing at half time every time the side are behind.

we can talk about poor defending and rubbish play but our team is trying to win, which is more than what can be said for some entitled fans.

yes, that's what he said.
No he is trying to put the blame on the whole defence when dier is the one giving them the two goals. Leeds at 1-1 Leeds does not look like scoring. Until of course everyone played offside except Dier.

Its really no surprise all our defensive problems are coming down the right side of the defence.

Dier is serviceable as the centre CB of a back 3 but on the right with Emerson outside him it's just too easy for the opposition to get chances down that side.

The worst thing is that Leeds are there to be absolutely ruined once you get the ball past their initial press and over the halfway line. We've had tens of good attacking chances where they're torn wide open, and haven't done anything with them.

Going the other way it's more of the same. Collective isn't functioning, isn't organised, isn't working hard enough, has become far too loose and open, and individuals are making errors, and we've conceded two very soft goals.

If we were anywhere near firing on all cylinders this would be a cricket score, you'd see off their initial bluster/press and tear them to pieces. Instead we're in a right old struggle. It's entirely possible we can turn this around second half, but we need this World Cup break badly. Performance wise the team is in such a bad place currently.

Lenglet is an absolutely horrific defender. Watching him up close its insane how weak and slow he is.
A defence is as strong as its weakest link which doesn't bode well for this shambolic backline.

You can absolutely see why Conte is looking to this area for improvement in the transfer window - quite frankly, they can all go as far as i'm concerned.

Its obvious Leeds have targetted the space between Dier and Emerson. They win the ball and switch it there everytime.

It's a real weakness and until we get Romero back, bring in a better RWB and a better CCB, we will have issues with it.

I think we need better than Davies but he isn't targetted because his positioning is decent.

Dier is all over the place. Gets too tight, stands off too much, plays himself into trouble, doesn't react when space opens up. Emerson is usually pushed high up and then has too much ground to cover, or is too weak

I have the definitive answer, thanks to Google:

10 a.m. — Tottenham vs. Leeds United. Peacock Premium — Pien Meulensteen and Efan Ekoku.

But who the fuck is Pien Meulensteen and why is her first name so close to being penis?

Showing the replays of the action at Ht, Lloris really is becoming a hologram when shots are hit near him below waist level

O
Almost as if everyone on this forum and Europe knew that before we loaned him in to solve our biggest weakness. Remarkable that people were okay with it. He's fine on the ball but not as progressive as we expected and when you watch him live you realise how behind the play he often is.

I think most were expecting him to deputise and play alongside Romero, that’s why he was deemed acceptable. But I might just be reading between the lines.

Dier needs to be completely out the squad. He’s personally culpable for the majority of the recent goals we’ve conceded
He has been shocking bad recently. It's depressing when you see that defense line up. You just know it's gonna be an up hill battle. Honestly, there's no point in trying to defend when they're on the pitch. We should just try and out score the opposition

I think Hojbjerg and Dier probably need to take the lion's share of the blame for the first goal. Hojbjerg comes in on the wrong side and sells himself short, Emerson reacts slowly to the man running off Dier, but Dier should have still done better.

To blame our fans for the defeats is frankly ridiculous.

Right now yeah, but how do they recover their confidence when the fans keep reminding them. Whoever that prick was screaming at them just before the goal hopefully got chinned.

That prick was shouting at the Leeds corner taker

think the fans are a bit fed up with this now. The general standard of performances this season, failure to score first for weeks, constantly chasing games - not to mention having to endure turgid football under Nuno and Jose. All this frustrating has been growing for awhile ,just bubbling over now
But do the fans want the team to succeed? It’s ok to moan and complain but it’s unhelpful to get on the players’ backs every time when they are trying to rescue the situation.

City were the better team against Brentford but still got fuck all from the game

Depends how you look at it. They dominated possession but created very little. Whereas Brentford defender excellently, had the best chances and should have won 3 or 4-1.
